Guild going horde because of faction imbalance

Honestly, the easiest way to fix the problem is to make alliance racials op for a bit.

If they are strong enough, everyone will go back. They always follow the meta.

Yeah but that’s a scummy way to go about it and screams greed from blizzard there is better ways of accomplishing a simple issue.

Most Top tier pvers i know hate pvpers anyways or dosen’t enjoy Faction war…Again just simply make Pvers able to team up for raids sure there might be the 1% that says NO ALLIANCE SINCE BAD RACIALS but as a whole it would be good for that portion of content and community.

It wouldn’t be the first time they have done something like that. And really, it’s the only true solution. As long as one faction holds an advantage, that’s where everyone will go.

Night elf racials were dominant for MDI a while back, didn’t create any transfers and m+ is a far more popular game mode than raiding.

I mainly pvp but that being said it’s sad to see blizzard not do this years ago and the simple answer is cash. These “Allied Races” was a big cash cow for race changes.

Cross faction grouping.

Good players faction change and quitting isn’t helping as well.

I took 2 years break. Come back to see almost all Alliance disappeared on Illidan server. Alliance was better on that server.

I prefer Alliance overall.

But objectively speaking Horde has had better PvE racials.

Is that really making a huge difference now? I doubt it. Mechagnome, arguably, has some of the best PvE traits.

I know back in classic Horde had the monopoly on bloodlust which did make a big difference.

Now? I really don’t know what it is but Horde tend to have a different mentality when it comes to the game than Alliance does.

This is why they should have removed racials after TBC.

people can argue all they want with me but racial elitism was a major negative for this game.

THERE ALWAYS IS AND WILL BE A META as long as the internet/google are a thing.

Instead of server connections, Blizzard should simply make current-tier mythic raiding groups open cross server like all the other content.

See this is hilarious for a few reasons. Firstly that Alliance was dominant in pre-BC. Secondly because bloodlust was added in BC, after shamans went cross faction.

What?

You sincerely believe bloodlust did not exist in classic?

I use to play on a realm*named Alterac Mountains and there was a well known sponsored guild there called Vodka I believe they all faction changed to stay competitive with paragon or method or w/e the big cheese was back than and boom they all left our server as well as 30% of the followers/fans. That server use to flourish and we decently populated and is now one of the servers connected with 2 or 3 other servers.

Down goes another guild.

Don’t worry, My guild did the same thing. Tired of playing Blizzard’s discount faction.

Not having factions, the easiest and best solution.

There won’t be any imbalance if there aren’t factions to be imbalanced.

Anyone could play any race, and enjoy any part of the endgame, with any players they want. That would be the best possible change that could come to this game.

Maybe going forward Bliz needs to consider making more citys like Dalaran that’s cross faction but eliminate the restrictions of trade etc with HordevsAlliance.

Only time the PVP element needs to effect HvsA is during Warmode/instanced base pvp.

Yeah, because it didn’t. It was added in the BC pre-patch about 2 weeks before release. Seriously, classic is playable right now. Go see if you can find bloodlust.

While I agree, they should scrap it at this point (and I honestly thought they were going in that direction with the whole Sylvanas narrative originally)… They’ve made it pretty clear that it isn’t of interest to them.

They seem to have had the chance, and bailed out on it. Not to mention I think quite a few people from either side would be a bit furious to lose their faction “identity”.

I’m just not someone who gives a flying feck about lore.

Huh. Well I stand corrected. The Googles affirm your statement.

¯_ (ツ)_/¯

That’s actually a very interesting point. It would have been the perfect time to remove faction restrictions in PvE while the horde partnered with alliance against sylvanas.

It’s definitely a bit of a controversial change to consider, but the more I think about it, the more good it would do for the health and longevity of the alliance population in higher end pve.

Not necessarily would they lose there identity for say.

It’s more of a convenience between larger roster of players for the PvE tasks for raids/mythic+ I personally feel they could still keep it’s Identity for the Pvp aspect of the game but whos to say blue and red cant be on the save team for non-pvp
