Hi so it seems like almost every update or patch guild chat becomes disabled and there is no way to communicate with your guild outside of discord. Is this something that is actively being worked on?

This might be best to post in the bug forums as it doesn’t seem to be a major issue for most. Not seeing any posts regarding this at all.
I have not had an issue with the Guild chat but there is definitely been an issue all expansion with scrolling down your guild list and having the list automatically pop back up to the top. It makes it very difficult to do invites for raid. Everyone in my guild has been experiencing this issue since the expansion release.

I’m not sure what this is about, are you talking about external tools that let you use guild chat outside of WoW?
Afaik this is a bug in their UI code that re-renders the contents and causes the state to be reset whenever the group composition changes. Workaround is to use an addon to do the invites.
For more clarity it’s an issue where when you try to type in guild chat nothing comes up and others in guild can not see the chat as well. Normally I would bring this up in the bugs section however it seems to be an ongoing issue usually happens with an update.
I have gotten notified from other members in my community as well as experienced the issue myself.
I only have this when I type something before I’m “fully logged in”, same for communities. Haven’t seen this issue recently but I’ve also not been using guild chat as much due to cross faction guilds not being a thing (yet)
