Cannot deposit anything into the guild bank without experiencing a disconnect. Happening 100% of the time since today’s maintenance went through.

yep, the exact same thing is happening to me. Welcome to patch day. After 20 years, you would think they would have a handle on having a relatively bug-free patch day. Nope. WoW remains one of the buggiest games on patch day of any MMO on the market. Why is this???!!! You have our money, so please step up and do something productive with it! Seriously, do better, WoW Devs!

Also experiencing this horrible bug!
On the bright side…I was able to use this bug to my advantage and get a fun pic of my DK and my Priest having a chat at the Guild bank. I kept half-expecting my bugged Priest to suddenly turn and run off. @.@

Addons on or not soon as I interact with my guild bank or summon the portable one my game just fails all I can do is type in chat. No log out Exit game cannot attack interact with anything else mount up etc. So this being a Major issue over all the minor ones that needs fixing ASAP or hese Threads are going to be rampant.
Edit" To Add it does not affect all my characters Itas mainly affected my Warrior Main.

Also having the same issue, even after a full UI reset.
It gets very weird though. The server loses my character for a period of time. In parts of the city near the guild bank I interacted with, I can see NPCs. In other parts of the city, there are NO NPCs whatsoever. However, I can still see players throughout the area. I take no fall damage. I can swim without needing to breathe. I cannot mount or use abilities. I do eventually disconnect from the server.
But it is making for some great screenshots!
EDITED TO ADD:
The portable guild bank is also having issues with inserting or removing items. However it has not caused a disconnect yet.

Characters in a timeline can access the guild bank in case anyone else was curious.

I cannot add any items to an existing item in guild bank. I can add items to a blank slot, but I have to manually drag them over - right-click to add is not working at all.
Are you saying that this bug only affects toons using Chromie Time?
Think they mean that characters using Chromie Time are NOT affected by the glitch.

Also happening to me, have to force close and then my char is stuck in the world for a prolonged period of time.

Just tested this theory on my lowbie auction house toon. She was not in Chromie time and was having the Guild Vault issue so I put her in Chromie time and she is still having the same issue.

Only change but with the same result is as follows. I have a 70 Rogue which I am able to use very briefly as in Deposit gold items /withdraw but this is just around the 1 minute mark before the same problem arises I cannot interact with the bank or anything else in the game anymore besides being able to type in chat channels. I still have to force quit and then then not play that character for a time since the server still considers it online,
Has anyone got any ideas in regards to Addons causing this or is it purely a Blizzard issue that is doing it. Once I stiopped trying to use or access my guild bank I had no other issues pop up. Personal Bank works fine for any period of time so if you need to deposit items for the time being until they iron this issue out I would suggest that or Make or Transfer the items you wish to guild bank to that Alt which is what I will be doing. Also was very concerned to not see a Maintenance last night fora day one patch . I know we got updates throughout the day but seeing as an issue such as this did not warrant atleast a 1 hour maintenance by blizzard is a bit concerning and not at the same time seeing how it could be there end or tied to an addon with the recent advent of “throtteling” by blizz with certain or a broad range.
Let me know if this issue still persists or if there is a work around or Addon/s I should completely remove from use for now and If I come across anything I will Update also.

I’m glad this isn’t just me. What a strange bug.
So, someone found that if you turn on Bagnon’s Guild Bank, you CAN access everything without issues.
Give it a try. Let us know if it works. Might work until they fix this issue.
Same here, once I try to use the bank, shortly after everything becomes stuck. As the GM this is extremely inconvenient. Mail doesn’t work , can’t mount, then within a minute or two the extra action button for the gold fight appears, and I’m not in the bank anymore! I turned off all my addons. No change. PLEASE FIX
Just did a quick test
You can right-click to deposit sth in the bank as normal. To take items out of the bank, it’s “drag and drop”. But the game keeps working.

Try going to Orgrimmar or SW. That worked for me. The Val bank is mess.
Just got on my computer and am Seeing an Update to the game so this problem is fixed or we still getting issues?
