I hope they find a new game they enjoy. Voting with your wallet is the smartest possible move. It worked in WoD.
This is also at the heart of the issue. Those who are being dismissive about it should be prepared for it will happen to them. It is like lighting a match in a dynamite factory. It is a matter of when not if it will blow up but, in this case, it is a matter of when, not if it will happen to them.
And this has what to do with the price of potatoes?
Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the most drama and detached from reality of them all.
The Hoarders who want reparations from a company that has closed 80 threads and will not be restoring all their stuff. Kinda surprised you had to ask.
If you donāt know, I cannot help you.
This is not only reasonable, it would be the first procedure Iād initiate. It is being held in a database (Oracle is my understanding). If that is true, then it makes restoring items that much more easy.
I do knowā¦do you?
Without a doubt. Just surprised you asked. Seems like a filler post more than a constructive rebuttle. Then again, based on most of the commentary in this thread, I can see why blizz closed the Bug report thread, and 80 other random threadsā¦ and is now staying out of this one.
Ariane 5ā¦ different subject matter to be honest.
Thanks for thatā¦
I will have to dance around this one like Blizz has done.
Regardless, I will say thanks for the post and I am sorry you have not lost anything of value in-game. Others not so much so show some compassion to those that have.
We all acknowledge your view. Yes?
Bad enough Blizz to move it from bug report to gen discussion. Pretty petty.
I really wanna tee off on the Ariane-5 but feel a ban coming on.
Some bugs are just more costly than others. I feel bad for folks. I do. But I am not going to rage out and climb into mob mentality over some pixels. Also, as long as you keep it clean, you can talk about any software bug that cost a billion dollars in 60 seconds.
Agree some bugs are very costly.
Here we are on the subject of guild bank loss.
Thanks for your reply and opinion it means a lot.
I think the ones I feel worst for are the hoarders who have had stuff since Classic that cannot be replaced.
Well said.
Itās a feature, not a bug!
Not actually sarcastic
I got back one stack of leather 999, and two transmog itemsā¦and blizz basically saying GFY as a response. Iām just numb.
Needless to say, I think at the end of the day all of us can agree that we will be more careful about what we store, when and where. I kick myself every time I try to go to the GB. Sad empty lil thing. Eventually it will become less of a habit.
I, personally, love to collect - everything the game has to offer - but Iāve started taking a hard look at my personal bank and reagent bank now. I wish some old stuff had a vendor value or would let you destroy it.
I just noticed Kaivax moved my post somewhere (or at least made note of it), but I have no idea where.
Blizz/Kaivax, if you can see this and, moreover, restore my letters Iād be extraordinarily grateful.
While they downplay the issue it a bit at the end, this streamer (Zepla) did a video on the Guild Banks bug. Go like and comment if you can!
Itās good that someone else outside the forums has mentioned it but I canāt help the feeling that her overall tone was āHey, look at that dumpster fire, glad I donāt have to put that outā. Not saying anyoneās obligated to care; Iām surprised anyone who isnāt affected would, considering how pervasive compassion fatigue has become.
I must be getting old.
