My first exposure to Blizzard was 1996 when I played Warcraft 2.
From 1996 to 2024: 28 years I loved Blizzard and their games.
This one singular event poisoned me against them. It wasn’t that I lost hundreds of thousands of items, that I spent 19 years collecting:
It’s their total lack of comprehension or caring. Player item deletions on this magnitude, and we got one blue post on September 20, 2024, and NOTHING since then.
Blizzard should care more and treat us better.

Or in the comments of the various third-party people lauding Blizzard for keeping up with their “road-map” (despite the fact that . . . do we really NEED all this NEW content that’s going to be obsolete in two months?) I’d rather have well-tested, high-quality content and the knowledge that whatever we get - be it a title, an item, reputation, unless I delete the item, they will always be there and a few less “small” patches.

I’m not sure they do either, it was certainly a shock to see my tabs wiped out but even more of a shock to see their anemic response to this issue followed by radio silence. I understand they’ve essentially closed out this issue but it just feels bad to get such a poor response from them and no follow-up.

I wonder if it’s the same bug from Dragonflight where a crafting reagent either in the reagent bank or bag would disappear and wouldn’t reappear until a couple days later. I had that happening on occasion since at least Patch 10.1.0, though I’ve yet to encounter it this expansion so far.

The response has simply been insufficient. At minimum, I want to be compensated for their error with items or gold of the same value. I’ve been asking for a Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur Mount and a couple of Warbank tabs at minimum, and I’m going to keep on at Blizzard until they actually do something.
Accidentally clicked on the Classic Bug Report forums. Wow, they get all kinds of blue replies over there for their busted stuff.
Retail really is just all about cashing in on peoples FOMO.

We’ve been posting here since Aug/Sep (the literal forum title) and nothing has happened, we got one blue post on Sep 20.

That is what they are hoping for, and why they keep pumping out broken stuff to prey on everyones FOMO, instead of actually producing quality like they did once upon a time.
