first time proxy voting? these are the standard board recommendations for just about any company
Pretty good video. Only disappointment was that he used Wowpedia as a reference since the community voted to leave Wikia/Fandom a year ago (weâre Warcraft Wiki now). Goes to show how entrenched Wikia/Fandom is on the web.
Thereâs a new development in my guild bank on the Draenor Server; my GM noticed the battle pet tab shows the bulk of the pets stored there as the âpet cageâ icon, with no idea what type of pet it is. Ten pets have identifiable icons, but about 40 other stored pets are displaying as generic pet cages. Anyone else having this problem? Itâs new issue, as of November 11, and it wasnât displaying items that way during the initial Bank Heist this fall.
No mail, never gonna be I suppose.
Blizzard, stop running your company like Boeing. Quality matters, your profits drop as you let it fall, wake up.
You mean Boeing not BowingâŚ
I find it sad that I donât trust any data point in this game anymore. Iâve trusted Blizzard for 19 years, but not anymore.
For 19 years I never worried about the mining node I just mined actually went into my bags. Or the stack of herbs I had in the bank wouldnât be there the next time I logged on. Or the reputation I spent years farming decades ago would be erased.
The reason isnât because of the Guild Bank Deleted Items. I might could forgive a singular bug (although this one is nearly unforgivable). Itâs because of Blizzardâs non-response and complete desire for this issue to disappear.
Talk to us. Discuss this terrible data loss. Have your leadership express how sorry they are. Are they sorry? IDK? Your silence is hurting you in so many more ways you canât imagine. Your PR teamâs dictate to burry this is just wrong. The PR team is old school and hurting Blizzard.
What other data loss occurred in the last 19 years that we donât know about because they effectively squashed the news of it?

I have been posting since September 20, heavily critical of this customer data loss and Blizzardâs non-response and possible cover up. For the previous 19 years I only spoke positively about Blizzard, and how much I enjoyed World of Warcraft.
Back when I used to play this game, Iâd fly into the dragon city and my map would be swamped with questgiversâ golden !'s⌠Today I thought about blizzâs perspective, their map is full players with green $$$s over their heads. Whatâs one less $ to them? The ongoing silence and inaction to the harm theyâve done just cements this viewpoint.
This is a new age a minimal QC and maximum monetization+FOMO. The $90 dino proves it. Theyâve cheapened the spirit of this game so much I donât even want to buy it anymore, I donât want to be a part of it, and I surely wonât be recommending any of blizzâs games to anyone (quite the opposite).
Guess this is it for me. Good luck to everyone, and no you canât have my stuff - blizz deleted most of it anyway.
OMG just went to check my Pets Bank, probably the only one that survived either unscathed or with so little damage that I didnât even notice.
I hope this is only a visual but (which the EU CM says - of course itâs the one in EU that replies) and that this is NOT the start of another bigger issue.
I just canât trust Blizzard with our data - all of our STUFF, achievements, etc. anymore. When I see an anomaly like this, in the back of my head, I think âOK, how is this going to get worse?â
Also, speaking of bugs . . . my guild bank logs are STILL NOT UPDATING. This has been going for MONTHS, preceding the Great Bank Heist. Is it EVER going to get fixed? Is ANYTHING having to do with the guild bank going to get fixed? (This is especially problematic for my ACTIVE BANK full of a bunch of people. I really like knowing whatâs being put in and taken out).
Yeah mine are the same. They were actually working prior to the Great Bank Heist, but now theyâre at best unreliable and at worst pointless. Blizzard should be working not only on fixing them, but improving them so weâre able to scroll back through them, like we can guild chat.
I did actually, but like items disappearing from my banks, chit happens.
Again, see the first post. Guys they are just some items in a video game and not that many people were affected. Its unfortunate they cant get them back but sometimes things happen and you cant control it.
thereâs a big sticky thread at the top of the forum. seems like theyâre pretty bad at making things disappear?
I dunno ⌠I think theyâre showing a pretty good knack for it. Not just guild vault items, but rep, currency and Honor are all going âpoofâ currently
As I understand, A LOT of people got little more than a few bits of âpocket lintâ (myself included)!
Yes, less than 1% of items to less than 1% of guilds counts as a rousing success to the Warcraft Developers.
I wonder if the 1000 dollar mount mentioned in the above video will have a guild bank with all your missing items in it ? âMake Azeroth Great Againâ
Just checked again yesterday and out of 4 tabs they returned 1 crystalized water, 1 sungrass and 1 mageroyal.
I am afraid to put anything in the bank and begin refilling it lest they turn around and say something like, âoh we were about to restore everything but because you put a stack of thorium in the second tab all the data was lost, sorry.â.
I find myself reluctant to deposit anything into my guild banks that doesnât already have an occupied slot despite not expecting anything back. May be irrational of me, butâŚ
