I’ve just finished all 8 runs in one shot, but seeing as some paladins struggle with it, I’ll leave out some tips.
Go protection for starters, you want to be near invulnerable, while picking up as much damage from anima powers.
Ravenous anima:
-Upper reaches and Fractured halls is your aim for core one. You can even requeue until you get one of them.
You’ll want to use Ravenous anima (250 phantasma red orb) from Broken on one of these mobs:
[Mawsworn Acolyte]
[Mawsworn Disciple]
[Mawsworn Endbringer]
[Mawsworn Soulbinder]
[Lumbering Creation]
This will grant you 10x phantasma from skeletons, which are plentiful, you’ll have near infinite phantasma.
Other anima powers you can get from Ravenous anima are less useful, but Coldheart one gives you 5% haste per mob killed for 10s, quite useful until last boss if you can spare the phantasma. Or -65% fire damage taken if you get Soulforges and that nasty fire damage tick debuff.
Anima powers:
Your main aim is haste and crit.
You’ll often run into a rare that offers this one:

(5% haste every 10 sec in combat)
You always want to take this, it’s flat up to 25% haste for boss fights.
Grab bit more haste, and for rest, focus on crit chance and crit damage, and in addition…
[Lens of Elchaver]When you critically strike with a direct attack, an Arcane bolt will also strike your target, dealing (125% of Spell power / Attack power) Arcane damage.
Grabbing 2-3 of these with high crit chance will give you massive damage increase, as nearly all yours attacks will bring extra 10-30k damage.
And final important note is to take:
Mad paragon- Hammer of wrath extends wings by 3 seconds. This will let you keep wings up indefinitely with high haste. Pair this with extra 3 charges on hammer of wrath, you’ll have wings up all the time.
Rest is finnese, but as protection paladin, you have good chances of getting your mount. You can grab some defensive anima powers, but generally best taken when they’re the only option available. If you focus on defense, you’ll be short on damage on last boss.
You have better chances being full glass cannon than full tank, as the sooner you kill the boss, the better.
Extra note for Maw of the Maw final boss: If you get unlucky enough to get this one, you’ll want anima powers that stun mobs when you use divine toll, as well as one that has chance to stun mob with your hammer of wrath, and one that has chance to stun mob when you deal holy damage. This will leave the boss nearly permastunned.
