Too bad you can’t do this like you can with the Goblin glider.
Yeah, it’s too bad, but that’s the way it’s always been. At least you don’t splat.
No but often it takes you to the worst spots when you finally get to the ground.
Same with mage’s slow fall. Only demon hunters seems to have the built in goblin glider. Demon Hunter’s are even better as there’s no cooldown that the goblin glider has, plus they can activate/deactivate as often as they’d like while gliding.
I use a /cancelaura macro to control my descent… especially if I’m going to end up sailing into bad.
Cancelaura > drop like a rock > recast before I hit the ground.
Just put the Levitate button and the /cancelaura button next to each other, and toggle!
Happy “flying” !
Can also right click the icon on the top right to cancel, and recast, but a marco might be easier.
Too bad you can’t adjust the glide of a goblin glider, I usual fall near the ground then activate it so I don’t have to wait so long.
Pretty much this!
I have levitate put into one macro infact.
/cancelaura Levitate
/cast Levitate
Hit button once for levitate, double tap to free fall! (It works because levitate is on the GCD!)
I dont really mind that. I’ve always wanted it to double as a “flying mount” though.
Thanks for the macro! Ya it would be neat if it were a mount, like a carpet mount but no carpet.
