Does anyone know if server transfering a character changes there GUID?
Were dealing with a stalker in guild, and trying to stop them from getting back into the guild, were afraid if they server transfer, then transfer back we would be unable to detect them in our GRM addon.
As long as every single person in the guild removes/blocks the person off of their friends list, when you transfer to a new server, the player will not be able to follow you around. All it will take is one person to mess it up and appear online to the stalker for them to know your new server. Also, change all of your character names when you transfer.
On the current server you guys share with the stalker, they can just add people as a server friend, without adding on bnet, to see who is online. But as soon as you leave the server, the won’t see that any more.
The reality is that you guys should just block the person and move on with your lives. If they’ve done anything against the actual TOS/EULA, then report them.
