I was working on the Guest Relations quests for the anniversary a few days ago. I was on Day 3: The Trail’s Gone Cold. I did all the things…picked up the quest; found the vessel with the cap; hopped it to Northrend; then used the Incense and cap to find the guy in Unu’pe. Got the next quest, went on the hunt and found the notes with the torch and idol. Headed to Sholazar; used the telescope; went to Icecrown, and used the idol to find the dead body. Walked all over the area with idol, the torch, and the cap and was sitting at 80%.
Summoned Rexxar with the whistle; still 80%; talked to him and…stuck at 80%. It wouldn’t complete, to send me back to Alyx. So, not thinking, I deleted the quest so I could restart it…but no quest is available to restart. Nor will she move me on the next quest.
I was able to complete it on another char, but shouldn’t it have reset for my main, since I had not completed it? Ah, well…life goes on.
