Guards in non sanctuary hubs needs to be nerfed or removed

I just got attacked by some random dewb right before getting a flight to Dornogal. So I defended myself and whooped him but the guards attacked ME instead and they kept spamming webs so I couldn’t do anything and ended up getting killed having to pay for repairs

The guards are way overtuned and attacks the person who defend themselves and keep spawning from nowhere .

If you don’t want people fighting in these zones just make them sanctuaries instead of letting people get jumped and then kill them while defending themselves with unlimited guards that bypass all defense cooldowns like increased movement , shadow melt etc.

Using any of the disturbed earth also aggros the guards in hallowfall. Pretty sure they should just disable guards across the board for warmode

I mean I get it that they don’t want quest hubs to be spots for high lvl players ganking on lowbies but if you don’t want fights make them sanctuary zones or tone down the guards so at least you can run away from them. They completely bypass everything like vanish, feign death etc while spamming nets non stop so you can’t just run from them

So if I get jumped I either have to let the enemy pound on me hoping guards will kill them before I die or fight back and get destroyed by the guards given my attacker already got my hp low…

And they spawn out of nowhere if you try run you will get 4-5 after you

Terrible design

I think they just need their nets increased in cooldown and/or reduced in duration. Or given a slow instead of a root.

Guards in neutral towns are fine, and if you understand HOW guards work in PvP you can play around them. The problem is they spam net you so you literally cannot move at all.

I’m a long time PVPer.
I think the guards netting you is a good thing.
Needs to be obscenely punishing to gank lowbies in cities.
