Guardian Tuning Update

I’m happy to see you’ve been actively advocating for Berserk/Incarn changes. Can you name me any other big CD that has its talent nodes/bonuses spread across the entire talent tree? I get that maybe they wanted Berserk to be a customizable spell that can function in any GuarDruid build–that idea is cool and intuitive in my book. But when the builds themselves are extremely subpar and take up too many talent points, it feels awful to have to spare one or two other points for the right Berserk talents to cheaply tie the build together. Either make the talent builds much stronger, or make Berserk baseline with most of its current talent effects.

Just give bear back the power of it’s mastery. Let us be meatbags again

Yeah… but there’s no open world area where I can gigapull that many mobs at once… :joy: …except perhaps the area where, during beta, there was a mob bugged to summon two undead proto-drakes every second or two… forever, until just having the mob and his army of proto-drakes in render distance was enough to turn your fps into spf…

You probably get more damage from taking GG to get to RotS from the proc MFs and extra swipes, especially in AOE.

Laser Bear does sim the highest for dps, yes. But in order to get Ursocs Fury shield bubble, you have to sacrifice something, and I’d sacrifice the Moonfiring extra DPS (which it is nice), and keep Rage of the Sleeper. Thus ending up with Thorns of Iron as your talent path to get to Rage of the Sleeper

Negative.

GG is gated behind a 2 point talent. From bezerk: persistence, it takes 4 talent points acquire RotS with GG.

RotS with Iron thorns only costs 3.

For an Usroc build, you simply do not have the points to do that.

Was messing around with Raze last night. Don’t really like giving up Twin Moon for it, but figured I’d see how it felt. The number of times I would hit it, the GCD would cycle and it did nothing: no dmg, no TnC proc consumed, just flat out did not hit blew my mind. Even if it was optimal in every situation, it would still suck solely because of how bugged it is right now, especially on boss fights.

Do i really have to go over the key lvl difference again…

That is the worst! just had it happen on last boss of Azure Vaults. Improved Maul that cleaves would feel so much better because at least you’d know if it was going to hit the primary target and wouldn’t reduce single target damage.

Personally, I expected better form you, but sure… if you wanna play that tired old excuse over and over again, knock yourself out. Just know that it does nothing to further your argument. It just makes you come across as cocky and arrogant wannabe KSH who in reality is wrong so god damn always about everything.

Just more typical knee jerk reactions brought to you by Yulicilla.
Overreacting since 2019.

Isn’t it great? The ability isn’t THAT bad when it works, it sucks that single target takes a hit, considering it’s so low in our tree, but I feels decent in multi target heavy situations like the tree in academy.

But it’s exceptionally punishing that we can hit the button, and it just doesn’t do anything. If t&c is up, we at least don’t lose rage to it, but bear is GCD starved half the time, and a missed raze is also a bear bubble we don’t get.

oh boy increased armor, this will help me survive all the magic damage!

Yeah I’ve noticed the bug a time or two myself and reported it in game. It’s a lot like the BrS bug with mobs off platforms (worm boss in SMBG and spider boss in Vault) where if you’re not almost directly on top of them, it doesn’t hit them.

Tis a pity.

Indirect buff to magic mitigation if one thinks about it. I think they’re trying to increase our physical mitigation so we can save our CDs for those magic moments.

Only problem is: almost every trash pack is magic dominant. But the majority of those spells can be kicked too. Gotta get that group on top of those interrupts!

You are giving up 10% DR, that you can have up on any target full time with just a moonfire?

GG is gated behind a 2pt talent, the most overbudget, never NOTTAKEIT, 2pt talent in our tree.

If you cannot play an Ursoc build without skipping Scintlating Moonlight, then you have a bad build.

Paladin Wings

Build a bear cooldowns aren’t great, but we also aren’t the only ones to suffer.

Shows how much I play other classes lol. I want to say Monk’s Fortifying Brew also has a couple talent nodes to tack on effects, but I might be wrong.

Meaningless words from a guy whos using an “ursocs build” without:

Berserk: Ravage
Berserk: Unchecked Aggression
Incarn
Vicious cycle
Twisted claws
Raze

You took Ursocs fury, and then ignored all the talents that Build bigger shields through raw damage. Whatever damage reduction you think youre getting from scintillating moonlight is completely negated by your weak sheilds. Not to mention that without raze, Tooth and claw is limited to 1 target.

Certainly explains this comment though…

No kidding. Youre doing absolutely nothing to buff ursoc

YIKES

Thats like playing hockey and showing up without any hockey gear, but saying "its ok , I brought my baseball bat.

Except for Wings, its one talent in class tree to pick up Avenging Wrath. And then 1 talent point in spec tree to pick how you want to improve it. So only 1 talent point decision in the spec tree. Meanwhile bear has as many as 5 talents in the spec tree tied to berserk (if you count incarn ones) for a total 5 points…for one CD.

If you count seal of might, then you have 3 total points in the class tree for AW, but seal of might is rarely taken and really depends on how you build (mainly if you favor mastery over vers).

Honestly, move berserk into the class tree, keep us from using stupid filler talents we can’t even use as bear, and give us those 5 points to use elsewhere in the spec tree. Or move the 3 berserk talents into class tree and keep the incarn ones in spec tree, or vice versa.
