I got it tonight. 250k gold. 320 attempts. I did all the gear hacks. I had gems on EVERYTHING. Enchants etc.

-1st 100 attempts was SL gear. Had Difficulty beating phase 1, and was learning the fight.
-2nd 100 attempts was all the Gucci gear and consumables, learning kruul fight
-Last few i was stuck at 1-10% consistently. I needed an Oomph.

My #1 tip: get these items ASAP

  1. Gaze trinket from HFC (10-25% of my damage)
  2. Seed pod trinket from emerald raid (10% of my dmg)
  3. unbridled potion (10-20% of my damage)
  4. any green gear. It only cost me 80 silver to repair lvl 45-50 greeens instead of 400 gold in my SL GEAR

My #2 tip is go into phase 2 will with no adds or just the nethers. Slam into kruul.

Lastly. Once i got the gaze trinket, i downed him in 4 attempts. So dumb.

it sucks trinkets were over 30% if my damage. It honestly didn’t even feel good to beat it bc it proved to me ( a casual) that the gear mattered that much.

It needs nerfed a little more. HP for variss and kruul. I want a ton of ppl to have fel bear skin. It’s gorgeous. More ppl should have it. Same with my legion cat forms. Wish more people could get it. Just let everyone obtain the legion models IMO

Also had Gaze and Seed.

Adding, once I switched my Incarn to 3rd annihilate, so 30% HP is also up for the 4th, I killed it in <3 pulls.

Same here. 350 attempts. 1/3 were SL gear.

Then I ran all Legion/MoP raids to get socketed gear and snagged RSP. As well as enchants and 1h consumable buffs. About another 1/3 were failures here.

Get the Sethe trinket. By this point I’m doing P1 in under 3 minutes in resto affinity easily with at 3 orbs every time. But still failing the dps check for Kruul. Best I got was 15%

Bit the bullet, bought some Fury potions and drums. Saved them for when I was well situated in P2, as in I had good positioning with Kruul and adds. Boom. Down in 4 tries by a wide margin.

Mechanically, the fight is just fine. Kruul’s health needs to be addressed a bit.

Gaze does so much damage to inferals though. That’s why they seem to do so much damage. Now, RSP when used in key points does a lot of damage and is super helpful.

But if you look at the break down on the bosses, you’ll see that trinkets really only did so much on the bosses

But nonetheless, gratz on finally getting it!

Did it in 68 tries used the dragonling and gaze trinket. I think they probably shouldn’t nerf it anymore to be honest, with all the gear that can be farmed to make this easier it should stay as it is right now. I hate that we can use random gear and consumables in this I wish they had templates of gear and consumables we could pick from before entering, would have made it much more enjoyable and balanced.

I was under the impression they tuned it for shadowlands gear not gear from 3 expansions old with sockets and OP trinkets that are broken when scaling.

They need to fix it for next time that way people can just jump in there with consumables. Just make flat stat templates.

I just want it to be more accessible to people. Fel werebear is literally just gorgeous. I have 2 druids max lvl and i used to do boomy/resto and feral/guardian but that bear form is just too nice to not look at.

I got the legion cat form as well, and I’ve had it “exclusively” for years now. I think other freaks should get it. It’s been long enough. There’s not enough feral/bear forms.

Thank god for legion. They did add some gorgeous models though especially the one with thorns and the neon one.

Picked up guardian for MT never completing anything beyond LFR and I just got it. If I can do it, you can do it

I wish someone would compile a gear list with enchants, gems, etc.

I want to know stat and gem priority, what specific gear, etc.

Versatility gear. Vers/Haste seems to be the most common (easily picked up from pvp honor vendor).
Versatility gems
Versatility enchants
Leech + stam on the cloak
Satyr on the neck (if you find one low enough)
Weapon enchant(s) can go a multitude of ways
Trinkets are also a wide variety for what i’ve been seeing people complete it with

Honestly it seems to be, stack versatility, and the rest is just kinda go with it.

Eeker I’ll tell you exactly what i did.

Trinkets: #1 was Gaze (HFC RAID From WOD) this thing SMACKS
#2 was the Seed pod (emerald raid from legion)

When i ran WOD raids and legion raid i got leather gear with gems in it. I kept anything with haste and a gem socket.

All agility in my sockets.

Enchants: weapon - lightless force
Bracers-agiiity
Shoulder- agility crit
Legs- agility
Rings- haste (had agility sockets in them too)
Chest- +30 stats (scales to +3 stats)
Cloak- stamina
Waist- extra socket
Neck- satyr enchant

Most of my stuff was raid gear from old raids that had sockets from HFC. I ran HFC on all 3 difficulties and that got me almost everything besides a chest (auction house) and rings (auction house). My weapon was a cheap green weapon from auction house.

If your gear is NOT shadowlands gear, the repair bill is like… 1 gold vs 300gold.

Final stats with all consumables was 320-330 agility ~550 stamina
20% haste
Crit Vers and mastery were all around 10% give or take INSIDE THE TOWER

I tried a full Vers build but everything felt very slow. I liked stacking haste personally.

Thanks all. I picked up the gaze last night but didn’t have any luck on the seed pod. I ran heroic and mythic to see if I could snag it but no luck. I crafted a ghost dragon trink for the three gem slots. I’m going to give that a shot.

Anyone know if the MoP crafted PvP gear scales well?

Mop crafted gear scales well if it’s ilvl above 44.

I think there’s ilvl 35 crafted mop pvp gear i wouldn’t recommend that tbh

Tried normal but I started with heroic. When I went in the first boss was dead. How do you do LFR for past content?

Edit: I just found it… NPC near violet hold.

Gaze trinket is good but the fight is a single target dps check in phase 2. Gaze kinda loses its value. I did it with cyclontronic trinket from mechagon and seed pod. Seed for adds gathered on top of boss and cyclone for kruul. Helped a ton.

I mean gaze is really good because its damage doesn’t split. So if all things are clustered it still will do damage on kruul. The mechagon trinket is really good as well but, I want to try it with the reduced forced movement card on it. Maybe that will negate the purple beams
