But can I still obtain the PvP appearances for legion artifacts?
You can obtain everything but the Mage tower specific things.

Just to clarify that, you still obtain variants of the Mage tower provided you already obtained the first/base appearance.
I got the base appearance when it was available, but didnt get the RBG version of it until recently this patch.
Nope. Mage Tower didn’t have variants. Base artifact had multiple variants though. And you can still make a new character and obtain the artifact and get the variants.

Right. From what I understand you can no longer complete the Mage Tower. If you happened to complete it at the time, then you can finish that off. I didn’t play Legion so not 100% sure how the Mage Tower worked, I just know you cannot do it anymore as I wanted that stuff on my DK and couldn’t get it. Fortunately you can still get the flight form though.
Also to help you out to get all the Regular PVP appearances you need to grind out lvl 80 honor. Which is account based across all your toons.
I believe the appearance go honor lvl 10 / 30 / 50 / 80 now instead of prestige.
I just want the base PvP skin. I’m not much of a PvPer so the idea of grinding to level 80 would drive me nuts.
True…but at least it doesn’t have to be on one toon. Look like you only need 2 more lvls which is only 17k honor…give or take.
Quests and whatnot help this out.
Does that mean all honor accumulated across all toons goes into one account wide honor pool?
yeah just get the honor level of the skin you want.
That first one comes pretty fast.
Not sure if you still get it from Sylvanas though… I think you just automatically get a quest at the reward levels so it should be pretty straightforward. Since it’s a legion thing it might make you equip the artifact weapon when you unlock it though.
If your absolutely against doing actual PVP, theres a few ways to cheese out honor quickly.
1k per character for winning wintergrasp and killing tremblade (and you can complete these quests anywhere so do them in a BFA or SL zone for the 1k honor achieve)
Timeworn Strand (think thats the name?) world quest in NW Azsuna has a repeatable thing for turning in drops that you find around there and can loot from the mobs there. Very little actual PVP there and honor gain is about 1/2 what you would get from a like amount of time spend in BGs if your efficient.
EDIT - Now I’m wondering if that’s exploitable… Make a trial, Que for WG, do the 1k honor quest, delete trial, and make a new trial.
Yes, Honor you receive across all your toons, factor into your Honor lvl.

Not entirely against it. Just limited play time and m+ is more my scene is all. I do enjoy a good BG from time to time.
But can you elaborate in the “quests” and how they’re done in SL zones?

Yeah, so when you go into WG theres an NPC that gives you a quest to win WG for 1k honor.
Then when you win WG you complete it and the quest pops up again in the UI with a “complete” button that turns it in wherever you are.
So run to… say Ardenweald… and turn it in there to complete the achieve for 1k honor earned while in ardenweald. Repeat once per character for each of those zones and you get all 4. Note that completing the achievements don’t actually give more honor… it’s just to have them.

no, only that there’s 4 achieves you can pick up.
It’s just something you can do while you pick up honor.
Oh and sillithyst runs give you honor if you do that during the AQ holiday.
