Why are these two specs getting next to no attention in the upcoming expansion?
Both talent tree’s are beyond disappointing and humiliating. The Guradian tree is virtually the same as the BFA talent tree, with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is that they added a new talent called Heart of the Wild… It’s on a 5 minute cooldown. Who on earth thinks that’s fun? There doesn’t seem to be any new abilities or talents (besides what I mentioned) at all. It just feels like BIizzard jumbled around some other spec talents and threw them at Guardian. Hurray
Feral druid also looks incredibly disappointing. Like where are the new talents and abilities? Again, it just feels like BIizzard moved around a few things in the talent tree and called it a day. Doesn’t matter that they bring next to no raid utility and have pitiful bleed damage (or overall dmg in general) Doesn’t matter that they’re one of the most punishing specs to play. No, we’re just going to march on foward and make sure that mages don’t have another expansion where they aren’t S or A tier. God forbid.
I really hope these two spec’s get some serious attention because this is my main character and I am not looking forward to anything coming up for either spec
Ive ran 15+ keys with guardian druids and feral (granted boomys are awsome) and they’ve done very well, i don’t see a lot them q(the ones that do, just know their class) so a druid tank is rare when a druid not dpsing in boomyform will be interesting but i wont lie not a lot of attention been so much given to them to my perspective
They are making some interesting changes to pulverize. It may even be useful for m+ in Shadowlands. We shalll seeeeee. Exciting times to not take lunar beam still.
Not really, you’ve been running 15+ keys with corruption & essences. Remember how bad bear tanks were in 8.0? They’ve gotten only trivial fixes since then, underneath the hood they’re just as rotten as they were at the start of the expansion.
Essences, corruption, etc. has just been wallpapering over the rotten, ugly walls. Rip off the wallpaper in 9.0 and all you’ll be left with is the junk underneath.
And before anyone says “but everyone is like that”, NO, other specs are complete and actually work, then the essences & corruption are like icing on the cake. Bear has no cake, it’s just a lot of icing on an empty shoebox. Looks great until you start to dig in.
And the kicker is, bears are getting heavily NERFED in shadowlands, for some reason.
A druid bear doesnt have to know hes class to do well in m+…he needs full set of versa gear with full set of versa corruptions. But whithuot that he/she wont perform.
Thats the problem, people forget so quickly that these systemsXsystemsXsystems
in the maintenance mode patch has made bear with full bis gear viable. But again…onle in the last patch where nobody gives a poop and peopel are abandoning ship.
You are talking about 1 single person who plays with the same perfect setup group every time that fills in what bear is missing. And you state it as thats how all guardian druids work in pugs or something?
Among the 500 top m+ runs theres 3.5% bear particitpation…and those 3.5% are played by 2 bears. Please explain to me how this is representative for all guardian druids in the game.
I 'member that. They were so incredibly paper in the first two tiers they had to get aggro, then run away for the remainder. The only successful bears didn’t tank at all, they just grabbed aggro and let the mage snare everything and the rogue misdirect.
It was no different than DH problems early and mid expansion. They were so bad they needed two shaman in the group to let their elemental tank for them and cycled it. Good times, good times.
Don’t forget warriors in the first tier. The gap in their shield block = auto death. Quite hilarious.
