Guardian and Azerite traits

So, this is really my biggest gripe with azerite traits. They just don’t have transparency on how they work. I read traits and I don’t know whether the trait even works with my abilities. Mainly I’m referring to abilities that work with healing done. For example “Apothecary’s concoctions” says that healing abilities have a chance to restore 5,382 health over 6 seconds, with effects increasing depending on health missing. Yet I tested the ability and it did not seem to work with ysera’s gift, which is a healing ability nor did it seem to work off regrowth or rejuvination. Another one I can choose in the next tier “bracing chill” Your heals have a chance to apply bracing chill, healing a target with bracing chill will heal for an additional 2574 and move bracing chill to a nearby ally (up to 6 times) so does this work on ysera’s gift? Please give some transparency on these abilities so I know whether I want to take them or not. They talk a lot about “we scrapped old talent systems or X Y and Z because it required people to search online to min-max” yet these azerite traits are worse than anything that has ever been in the game with that regard. In large part because proc rates are hidden, how the abilities work are hidden, etc etc. In the end it leaves a bad taste. Does anyone actually have information regarding these traits?

It’s a safe bet that a Resto trait like that only works in Resto spec.

The balance ones can work in other specs.

How are you testing these traits?

If they are resto traits, why are they selectable in guardian?

Because Azerite in general is a screwy, terrible system?

The only healing ones that really matter are impassive vissage, the bubble one and azerite veins.

The one that gives you verse when you stand still and heals when you move is a lot more awesome than I expected and the one that leaches life from enemies is great to.

The only resto one really worth looking at is the one that makes ysera tick every 4s, does about 2000hps… Great for sustain
