Have most of you seen this? It was trending on twitter and Rockstar games did respond so apparently the leak is real.

Naw. I never got into leak culture or Twitter. They both seem genuinely awful tbh. I did overhear talk of a female protagonist though, which is neat. I’m sure there will be exactly 0 vulgar sexual jokes from wholesome family company Rockstar. 
Are the usual suspects seething loudly, or are they drowning in a sea of hype?

I watched it at work with no volume. I thought it looked really good. I understand they don’t want anything leaked ahead of time for a lot of reasons, but when I read that they’re “freaked out” over it, that’s a bit silly.

GTA mockups are pretty common in the community like a decade or so ago. Heck, i still remember that one particular game trailer that has two guys in it, fighting on top of a container attached to a helicopter flying in the desert, before crashing into a highway, and they tried passing it off as GTA 5. Eight Days, that’s the name.
As for leaks, i’l wait until the game actually comes out.
I did hear talks about a female protagonist, and again, i’m just going to wait and see. What i don’t get is the people act like this is anything new for the franchise when GTA 1, GTA 4’s multiplayer and GTA online has something like this.
All the leaks did was make me want to buy the game more.

They’re freaked out because the source code for both GTA V and GTA VI got leaked as well. Basically allows whoever has that to reverse engineer anything and see how it all works.
