i see a lot of people saying this addon is safe to use without punishment but saw other people questioning it, is this safe to use?
Yes, Blizz allows it, presumably for accessibility reasons.
The addon by itself is fine. The gray area is that you need a way to “spam” the keybind that you bind the macros to. Either holding down a button to spam the keybind or pressing it once to toggle the spam on and off. People use gaming mouse/keyboard software or AutoHotkey to do this.
Nobody has been banned for it as far as I know. I think even world-first raiders have openly used AHK without getting punished. Idk if Blizz has an official stance on this.
