Can you imagine how fun Grandpa Genn would be if he wasn’t so grumpy?
I mean, I get why. I just wanna give him all the pats.

(Fixed my title… derp)

I think anduin should use that scartlet monastary line soon and let Genn “Release the hounds!”
Genn watches with intent everyone who goes near those trees in the Stormwind castle courtyard.
Genn is awesome because he is grumpy though. He’s also one of the better written characters in the game as his motivations are relateable and his actions generally make sense when taken in the context of his history.
Ya he started a war because he was so grumpy
Really came back to bite those nelves in the booty
Nuh-uh, you zombies attacked Gilneas first.
He’s my favorite <3 I just imagine him being such a funny old dude if he were happy though. :3
Ya can’t just start a full blown war because you lost the last one years ago
Meanwhile, at the horde war council…
But I’m the protagonist. And I’m not grumpy. I’m delightfully insane with a sprinkle of smexy and a truck load of deadly.
I’m doubly as insane, triply as evil and quadruply as deadly!
My hat is super smexy too but maybe not quite as much… I can concede this point.
I never said I was evil though…
I mean I lack morals, so I don’t see anything as evil or good. I just do what makes me giggle. Sometimes it’s the cute piggy mount. Sometimes it’s stepping on skills until I get a squishy pop.
The definition of evil is to be immoral and if you lack morals you are immoral!
You sound like you’re chaotic evil, just like me! Want to go torture a couple of monsters with felfire and then pet a hamster?
It’ll be fun!
Like that one time Gilneas left the Alliance of Lordaeron and walled themselves off, resulting in the death/“worgennification” of the gilneans residing within Silverpine Forest, thus making Crowley mad at him.
He’s a character with flaws, and he overcomes those flaws while creating new ones at the same time. (Not being so welcoming of the peace between the Alliance and Horde, but who can blame a war veteran?)
Exactly. A good character is allowed to make mistakes, learn, grow from them, and then promptly make more mistakes.
The only reason I dislike Sylvanas so much is that she has “it was all part of my master plan” syndrome to the umpteenth degree. If she would actually… you know, grow as a character she could be interesting despite all of the terrible things she does.
But that’s why she is often described as a moustache-twirling cartoon villain.
“I meant to do that!”
Yes. Of course you did.
Nuh-uh, Gilneas abandoned the continent and its refugees in vain because of the worgen curse happening anyway first.
To be fair, i rather have an angry person getting revenge for his dead son with some sort of superpower cliche character then Flynn anytime, the lesser of two evils if you will.
That and Genn isn’t Illidan levels of annoying in terms of grumpyness.
But you’ve sacrificed everything what have we given? You need more edge!
I’d be grumpy too if I was expected to play nice with someone that attempted to eradicate my entire species and destroyed my home.
If he’d gutted Sylvanas in Stormheim, BFA wouldn’t have happened.
