Thereā€™s that pug in Stormwind.

If they can make a nearly unkillable pug in SW, they can make an unkillable cat named Grumpy somewhere ingame.

It would make a portion, probably large, of the playerbase happy.

Not sure if cat years is the same as dog years but that would make Grumpy like 50 years old. Thatā€™s old for an animal that had genetic conditions.

Just realized my momā€™s cat is like 15 yo nowā€¦thatā€™s crazy cuz sheā€™s a big old fatty (looks like a pillow pet when she lies on the floor with her paws tucked in). Still healthy-ish so hope she outlasts my mom.

I was saddened and angered at the injustice of it all. Grumpy Cat brought joy to so many lives yet there are evil people that walk this earth who bring nothing but chaos and grief.

My kitteh is 15 years old too, sheā€™s slowed down noticeably but can still jump into my lap when she wants cuddles. She loves to hide under the bed in the guest bedroom when she wants her alone time :3

Iā€™m sorry to hear about your wifeā€™s grandmother. I didnā€™t mean to annoy you with my sentiments. After all, what Iā€™ve written is just sentiment and opinion. I do see your point though. Perhaps I should say, internet famous/ internet culture individuals and inspiring people (like Stan Lee <3) deserve a tribute no matter how tiny in game.

Hell no. Before they make an in-game tribute to an animal they should make an in-game tribute to something a bit more meaningful, like say to every member of the US Military that gave their lives in defense of our country.

Ya know, those men and women that made it possible for US citizens to trash talk our government, vote, worship whatever religion we choose, own our own firearms and hundreds of other rights that we have in the US that we wouldnā€™t if those men and women had believed enough in the ideals that our country was founded on to give their lives for it.

Might we want to make an in-game tribute for those men and women before we do for some housepet? Just thought Iā€™d throw that out there, ya know, to put things into perspective IMO.

WoW is jampacked with pop culture references of all sorts. Something for Grumpy Cat would fit right in. For crying out loud, thereā€™s a whole (if very short) quest chain referencing Lady Gaga. If thatā€™s appropriate, then so is Grumpy Cat.

P.S. Honoring something on the fluffy side does not mean dishonoring everything and everyone else.
