Got the gruesome syringe trinket last night and it was doing anywhere from 5-8% my healing on fights. Is this good even with the loss of base Intellect? I didn’t track the Intellect buff it sometimes gives, so I will have to check that also. It seems to be better than some of the tier rankings I’ve seen. (it is much better than the Fungal Friend Flute I was using)
Anyone else have experience with the trinket?
Have to consider that Fungal Flute’s proc budget is partially taken by the mana restoration.
I tried it, I personally do not think it is that good, it might be better for Disc but as holy it felt meh. Not only do you need it to proc but you only get the Int buff if it fails to heal someone which lasts on a measly 10 seconds and if you have to do mechanics you waste those seconds, if you are raiding assuming you are (Crit/Mastery) just imagine with the loss of INT that you mastery is also healing less, This is just how I think anyway but I feel there are better trinkets to look for. I view it as trading consistent stats for rng if thats more you style. Hope this helps
i think it’s a very strong trinket it accounts for 4.5-6.8% (highest overall i have noticed on details) for my resto shaman at 617 ilvl, and the int proc has an uptime ranging from ~10-25% i’d say its strong despite what wowhead guides are saying however it sims pretty low compared to other options (not sure why)
