Despite us doing double that of an augment evoker, groups are taking augment but not taking hunters. That’s how biased the community is against hunters

I mean they bring so much to the table.
Without detracting from the topic, hopefully we get some eyes on how Augment synergises with certain class. Haven’t run enough to know if it’s true but pet class synergy is apparently poor.

I’ve done two 20s with them. The amount of support and extra dps they bring makes up for their low dps. They add so much extra dps and other abilities to other classes. It really made it fun to bring them along.

its not the 40k Aug Evoker thats getting ya. its the extra 50k damage the other dps see in their own meter, they want to see their numbers go burrrr,

Until you check an actual combat log and see that the aug contributed more than your 80k. (Assuming the other 2 dps are decent, aug is at the mercy of how good the damage they are buffing is)

The Augmentation Evoker is literally causing people’s DPS to spike ridiculously high; like I’ve heard reports of people’s AOE damage doubling as a result so small wonder people want to run with them.
Aug Evoker is being taken over 95% of specs.
Aug Evoker and S Priest now command 2/3 dps spots.
If you’re doing 80k dps at this point in the expansion we’ve got other issues.

Not only is 80k really low for the Hunter but 40k is really high for the Aug. once you look at the actual logs that Aug is going to be demolishing the Hunter’s damage.
Or maybe not since he’s buffing 80k Hunters.
