Group Vote To Kick: Is This A Fair System?

Bliz incorporated this Vote to Kick mechanic so that a group could rid themselves of a player that was bringing grief to the group by being disruptive and or toxic.

And also from holding groups hostage. That’s why we have the debuff timer.

So what do you think? Is the Group Vote to Kick system a good and fair system?

The system doesn’t discriminate. They don’t want you, then you’re out. That’s all there is to it.

While of course we want everyone to get along, there will be times when a group doesn’t mesh. In those situations, we give some agency to the players in that group by allowing them to vote to remove another member.

The deserter debuff is there to discourage folks from abandoning a group immediately after entering a dungeon, and unfortunately, because there are sometimes individuals who would, usually through bad behavior, encourage the group to use the vote to kick system to help avoid that debuff, it is still a factor in those situations.
