Group leaders can see our gear score

But why cant I see theirs before applying? 9/10 I join and the guy just wants to be carried with his 398 blues and I end up leaving. Would be much better for everyone if we could just see the leaders gear score before we even apply

You know I never thought about that. Good question.

Get the Raider.io addon, then you can see everyone’s score that you mouse over. This includes in the LFG dung/raid finder. I typically use it to see the Raid leaders progress on normal/heroic pugs, but it also works for scores/keys/best M+ ratings of anyone you roll your pointer over.

in a well designed system, we should be able to see details on the group leader, and everyone else in the party to help determine if we want to sign up for that group or not.

we don’t have a well designed system.

The persons ilvl shows up when they apply to a group. Just because you may not be the leader, you can still see it.

I misread the complaint I realize.

There are addons and weakauras that add this functionality.

Ah, that takes me back… The term you actually mean is item level.

Step 1: open Firefox/Chrome
Step 2: type www.raider.io
Step 3: type characters name like for example “Carriedlol-realm”
Step 4: press enter
Step 5: judge said character and determine if he/she is worth your time

WeakAura - find it on their library of WA’s - Group Finder Custom Extension

You can see thier score by having raider io add on lol . you can actually see their season 1 score too… i dont see how people run m+ with out raider io

raider.io addon and it’s associated applet my dude. You can see everyone’s score. Use that and ‘premade groups filter’ and you will have a MUCH better time sorting out M+ groups.

You can’t set the gear score requirement higher than your ilvl. So if they have a 420 requirement you know they are at least that high.

Unless they changed that perameter and I’m just completely unaware

Addons ahoy!

I wish we could see leaders ilvl. I’ve left so many groups after I joined. “OH, want a carry? Nah”
