question, do shamans have any defense against sheep/run away from mages? It seems like grounding totem does not soak up a sheep and tremor doesn’t break it. I assume polymorph is not a charm but Is it really not a harmful spell ?
You were simply out of totem range because grounding does prevent sheep.
Try putting 11 points into resto to increases range to 30 yards.
it helps big time with mages kiting you outside of your totem range.
Also you can always use earthshock to interrupt sheep.

oh then it is bugged, totem was dropped right by me as I was walking towards mage before cast got off
You gotta be good about the timing too, or the mage can use something else to get rid of it
