I dont have them macro’d to do so, but they will, seemingly at random, cast at my cursor as soon as I press the button. Lost so many shadow crashes this way.

I have the same thing, happening both on my shaman (earthquake) and priest (s-crash, massdispel) - it’s extremely annoying and can really ruin your play. The spells are used with shift+key, but I’ve not assigned shift to either self cast or mouse over modifiers.
Noticing this issue as well when trying to play resto on this shaman. Totems will just randomly cast where the cursor is which makes it really annoying to try to heal.
