Hey friends! First time posting here in years, so apologies if there’s a separate place for feedback.
I’ve been playing Midnight without flying, and honestly, like many others have said, it’s been great. Not being able to jump from point A to point B in seconds actually feels really rewarding. Navigating the terrain, fighting through mobs, and picking up loot, trash items, and gold just feels good. It genuinely feels like I’m playing the game I fell in love with all those years ago.
So to anyone reading this: I’d really recommend trying a ground-mount-only run, either on an alt or even your main while going through the expansion’s story.
And Blizz, if you wanted to support this style of play without removing flying for players who prefer to speed through the campaign, maybe add a toggleable mode similar to War Mode. Something that gives a small XP bonus for using ground mounts only.
I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts, opinions, or experiences if you’ve tried playing with only a ground mount.
