According to the Rostrums of Transformation, those come from the Centaur Reputation but seem to be missing from the Vendor:

A lot of the drake colors, armor colors and helms for the Grotto Netherdrake and the new Whimseydrake are locked behind centaur/niffen/valdraken rep, but there is nothing at the vendors.

Nov 14th the Wrathion Questline Unlocks which rewards the Grotto Drake (TP Folks Already Have it). My Guess is they will be added to the vendor then
Having completed Misfit Dragons questline and noting that the Yellow and Black scale options are gone completely from the Rostrum, is there any update as to where we get these options from?

It says that the teal skin is now locked behind the trading post. I really hope this isn’t a permanent change, because it’s my fav color and I dont want to be punished for taking a break.

Yeah I’m down to two colors now. It would be nice to know what is going on.

Went back today and check all the rep vendors. No Netherdrake options. But even more confusing I went to the dragon customization platform itself, and Netherdrakes now only have two color options. Black and Green were removed??? Also armor color is now missing as well.

It might have made sense if unlocking netherdrake customization was based on completing the netherdrake quests in Wrathion’s chain.
I just hope they don’t make the new dragonflights (storm, nether) into new factions and lock customization behind their new renown.

I also got a chin tendrils drop from the Emerald dream before reset. Never showed up as an option for my drake’s chin at the rostrum. Also missing yellow and black colors completely as of Tuesday, but now have helm unlocked, which was locked last week with new patch.

That is literally WoW and how it has always worked. If you miss out on something, you miss out on it. You aren’t being “punished” for taking a break, you just weren’t there for it. What a weird and self-centered way to phrase CHOOSING to not play at the time.
Meh, in that case you’d think they wouldn’t have made the grotto mount available through quests at all. I think teal being permanently locked for trader post only-people would be nasty if only because it’s one of the original four colors. If the trading post color were original and unique, then sure, make that exclusive. Otherwise, nah.
I don’t know what was going on. I’m not a scribe and I got the item not the recipe from a drop. I guess I could buy it and test it if scribe’s can get the recipe now.
so like, did they just remove the rep bound tmogs for them or what gives? been waiting to get the onyx scales and now all of a sudden it doesn’t exist?
