Grotto Netherwing Drake: Black Scales?

Hi, I made a post about a month ago about this issue and was posting in it as recently as an hour or two ago. Now that entire thread and all my posts in it, not to mention nearly 200 other messages in it was deleted and I was given no reason or response.

Why was this thread deleted when
a) It has been up for weeks
b) There are several other posts about the issue that remain up, several of which are more recent than mine.

I don’t understand. Are they trying to sweep this under the rug? Why on earth would they remove the entire thread?

It’s even better now too, because their solution is to just submit another bug report ingame, however the steps they give are:
1- Press Esc or click the ? Button to open the menu.

2- Click Support.

3- Click Submit feedback or bug report.

4- Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.

5- Click Submit.

However you cannot submit feedback in game especially using these instructions as
1: The support menu no longer has the “Submit feedback or bug report” button.
2: Going to Support > Contact Support > In-Game Issues the option to “Submit feedback or bug report” is now “Give Feedback” selecting the in-game link takes you to the same instructions at https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/000339262, clicking the Give Feedback button takes you to https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/
3: Because the “Submit feedback or bug report” feedback option is now “Give Feedback” and sends you to the forums, if you track down the bug reporter under Contact Support > In-Game Issues > Technical Issue > Report a Bug the page says
“If you want to report a bug, please use the provided in-game systems to notify our development team directly.” with a redirect to https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/15043
if you opt to instead click the Report a Bug button, it redirects you to
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/c/support/bug-report/17

As I can see it there is currently no way to submit a bug report in the game.

You can submit a Bug Report in-game, I’ve been doing it almost daily lately. Unless it’s changed in literally the last day or so which could easily be the case.

I still really want to know why my entire 30-day old thread with nearly 200 responses has just gone poof without any communication or rule breaking though.

In-game bug reporting and feedback is working for me.

completed this achievement back in novemeber 2023 and still not rewarded with the scales

Completed it on 3/20/24 on my end, and as of 5/2/24 still no luck, even post their hotfix. Have checked every character’s mail, and every level 60+ character’s rostrum, it’s not in either. I have since earned the Meta Achievement for Dragonflight, and been rewarded Taivan, as ‘Now THIS is Dragon Racing!’ is a part of said meta, there’s no arguing that I haven’t completed it in this case, it was all done on a single character, as well.

Also completed on only one character, nothing in the mail or Rostrum. Making Bug Reports every few days and I’ve opened around 3 tickets over the course of the last month regarding the issue.

I actually checked on the EU forums and man, they actually have GMs/Customer Support who respond to bug reports! It’s amazing, it’s almost as if they actually employ humans and treat their customers with a tiny amount of respect. Almost every bug report over on that forum has a reply from a Blizzard employee - it’s absolutely crazy that there’s been at ABSOLUTE minimum 5 different threads about this problem with around 1,000 replies combined (not to mention my deleted thread with nearly 200 replies alone) and yet it’s radio silence.

How hard is it for a single customer service representative to pop in and say “Hey, we’re aware of the issue and trying to fix it - we’ll let you know as soon as we have a timeframe for a fix! Thanks so much for your patience, and we promise to get it sorted ASAP!”

Heck, they could hire me to do that job - I’m pretty cheap, too.

You weren’t lying, nice to see some confirmation.

Yeah, imagine having Customer Support who actually replies to more than 1 or 2 threads per patch.

Must be nice.

still waiting on this myself, completed back in nov/dec 2023.

I’m still waiting too. Been submitting a couple bug reports a week, as well as occasional CS tickets. The CS rep was unable to confirm for me whether the devs are actually aware that the issue is persisting and just told me to make more bug reports. Would be nice if a blue could confirm that they are working on it. The support article just mentions “reports” and tells you to submit more bug reports, which suggests to me that they don’t know about it and need more reports to confirm that it’s still an issue.
