Good day to you all, i come here to plead my case on why we shouldnt lock realms like Grobbulus, benediction, and other “mega” servers. My friend came back for wrath and cant join our friend group on grobb (we’ve been here since day 1) so please open the gates. I just wanna play with my boi.
Heres why locking a server doesnt matter.
- The retail players will leave soon. The queues are only insane while they’re bored and classic has a content drop.
- In pre patch the queue was 19k-24k players. The worst i’ve seen at launch and today on reddit was 13k… aka the queue is already going down.
- People who really want to play will sit through the queue and play the game they love with the people they cherish. Its not feasible for my entire guild to transfer to a server for 1 person.
Hopefully somone blue sees this and can reach out to me.

We only get blue posts here about once every 6 months and almost never to directly reach out to someone with a problem, unfortunately. You’re basically screaming into the void here.

Makes not so much sense for there to be these types of queues in the first place.
They just don’t want to spend money on their company outside of paychecks, much like any large public company.
There are only two body types. Prove me wrong.

they should have locked them sooner honestly. waiting 10 hours to log in when you get home is awful
I got caught in the early quene basically wasn’t getting on till 7pm. So I had to make an effort for early login.
Behind but honestly loving the slow lvl, enjoying major pvp action despite the fact im not alrdy 80 spamming heroics.
Grobbulus was set on this path the moment it became an overflow server for all the streamer megaservers, and then, because it was the only pvp server to maintain faction balance due to the rpers not wanting to abandon their home, people continued to dogpile in. Since they cant maintain their own servers balance, they instead decided to come here and bring their toxic nature with them
I do love the game but I was getting 3 hour + queues and that’s the entire day of play a few times a week at most. I did finally get on friday morning for a bit but sitting through the queue isn’t always an option.
I do hope you are correct and it gets better soon.
