Do you guys think it’s a good idea to grind digs right now that it’s popular?
I feel like it’s another event that’s gonna die quickly so in the future, it’ll be hard to grind rep/currency for all the items. But I kinda don’t feel like doing the grind any time soon, idk.
So to grind or not to grind? 
I just finished the grind and its brutally long. The event scales, so the more people that are there the less tomes you’ll likely get per event…however, its hard to say exactly how many someone could get solo
All in all, its just a grind for cosmetics so if you dont feel like doing it, don’t.
I simply have a passion for dirt.
So it’s not like the superbloom or time rifts where it’s almost impossible to get the epic box now?
Nope, not like that at all. Reguardless of how many tomes you get, the last boss will spawn and reward 50 rep and some currency. The big variable will be the number of tomes you can complete before rhe boss spawns. I tend to get more in smaller number of particpants (10ish players) than I do when there are a lot of players there
Im only doing it for weekly 3k rep, already got both mounts
You can solo digs and still get around 5ish tomes a dig. I do it all the time.
The Mount and mog drop like crazy which I feel just leaves doing it for currency and rep which you could probably just lazily do via the weekly for a few months.
I don’t think I have it in me to grind out individual digs for rep and currency. That sounds like a lot of time.

I’ve never been able to do it solo but if you can get 5 per dig thats a good haul. I’ve had so many with a bunch of AFKers that we end up with 3
Really? I find it easier to solo or with small groups. Large groups are too many AFKers and I noticed less tomes.
Solo was super easy for me. You get bonus pages, the digging bar fills fast and the tasks are quick to do. The boss went down fast, too.
Yeah. Maybe its just my server size or something but there was always people at every dig…or maybe I’m just unlucky.
Oh… yeah. The server size will definitely do it. Mine is low pop, so it’s easy to have the digs dead by the time Thursday comes around. lol
I’ve soloed it and got 3 rewards. I’m sure I can do better now that I am more familiar with how to complete each task, though i wouldn’t expect to get more than 4.
This seems to be pretty much in line with the digs I’ve done with large groups.
