What other methods is there to get alliance vanguard rep in northrend? is questing in the northrend zones gonna get me to exalted to get the mekigneer chopper or is there more I can do to gain rep?

The Northrend factions give you a tabard, which steers all rep gained to that faction. I picked up my Wyrmrest Accord tabard and ran a 3-4 heroic dungeons over the weekend. I picked up about 15K rep in a couple of hours and if I feel like it I’ll get Exalted tonight and the red dragon mount.
Wrath heroics (as well as normal level 80 instances: Utgarde Pinnacle, The Culling of Stratholme, The Oculus, Halls of Lightning) will give spillover reputation with all the Alliance Vanguard forces concurrently without a tabard equipped
I can solo utgarde, that might be what I run for the most part
