Grimrail Depot

I did not know where to report this, really, but blizzard, can we get a button from grimrail to go back off of the train towards the beginning or something?

Apparently, if you’re doing a key under a 10 and you skip even 1 mob, you could literally end up in an impossible to complete dungeon, then. I think we skipped 1 mob, doing the normal routine for pugs skipping a mob and pulling some others, but we were literally 1% off of kill count, at 99% and killed every other mob but the 1, and we could not complete the dungeon at all, nor go back to go complete the rest of the percentage, either.

In other dungeons you can backtrack, or at least kill the final boss which leads you into being able to exit the dungeon and come back at the beginning. In Grimrail, you actually cannot complete this, so the key went to waste and group left because the final boss does not spawn until full 100% kill count.

We cleared the whole train, just skipped 1 mob before the first boss and we ended at 99% for reinforcements, but the boss was not spawning for us at all, so yeah assuming it takes full completion. It could have been a bug, I guess, but I don’t think it is?

Point being; can we get a go back button or something to hop off the train and go back to the beginning of the dungeon once we hop onto the train? Or can we get a prompt that says “you skipped mobs, go back and clear or you will not complete this dungeon.” Some kinda warning system here for others to not do this.

There is a chain in the rear car you can use to jump back.

There’s a chain near the sickly peon in the first cart that’ll take you back.

It’s in the corner by the NPC that sells the motion sickness potion. Pretty easy to miss.
