I’ve already explained this repeatedly in this thread so feel free to scroll up lol
Tl;dr:
Blizzard does nothing but tear the Horde down and pump the Alliance up.
So they’re doing a terrible job as each day the alliance gets smaller and the horde stays strong. Just seeing the horde’s hall of fame almost complete and aliance still 12/100, the groups of dungeons and the alliance dwindles even further. I wouldn’t be impressed if the overall number of factions was 70/30

Ma’am this is the story forum, the gameplay forums are that way.
But when I talked about Ardenwald I was talking about lore. I was ignored and Dreadmoore replied With a bait or troll
As much as i say i grew sick of the Shadowlands lore, i appreciate the breakdown still… Thank you
Tauren PoV: you are being laughed at by someone that’s on fire.
Saying legitimate Horde issues are “bait and trolls” is exactly why Horde players quit caring about Alliance issues.
It’s quite amazing how despite how horribly written the Horde is, we’re still given more attention than the forgettable Alliance.
Writers are Alliance biased too, kinda sad.
Here is what I think you did well in here…
Compiled info.
That’s it. That’s all you did in ant capacity here. But you screwed the pooch by ALSO interjection your bias and your grumbles into literally every part of this. This is not a summary of the book. This was a gripe fest disguised as a summary.
And let us all again remember that this book is written by the PERSPECTIVE (which is subjective and not objective) of the Brokers which we all know are about as self righteous as a Twitter mob.
If you are going to write a summary of something like a book then you first need to remain impartial when relaying information. Second is actually understand the material you are reading. Yes, the lore is a bit wacky here because we have to operate on a cosmic level. But you are blatantly ignoring that and trying to justify being a wet paper bag.
4/10 for effort.
Lol muted, go back to the RP forums
Mature lol
What did his post have to do with the RP forums?
A lot of y’all are under the mistaken impression you’re entitled to my damn time after responding with a dog whistle masked with contempt.
You are not.
You do realize Blizzard villains bats people who are white just as much? Arthas and the Scarlet Crusade comes to mind.
If anything male characters are potrayed as well as being “crazy over emotional” in WoW. Varian, Garrosh, Illidan, Arthas, all let their passions and desire for what is “good” overwhelm them. Sometimes with disasterous consequences.
Not ever female in Warcraft suffers from said trope. Alextrarza, Shandis, Ysera, Winter Queen, Chromie, Taelia etc. Usually women who do end up with said trope are people who just experienced a traumatic event. Male characters in Warcraft(like say Arthas) who suffered their own traumatic events happen to fall in “crazy over emotional” as well. Heck, we have Malygos going to extremes after he supposely went “sane”(even though his every action would be considered insane by any normal metric).
When’s the last time the Scarlet Crusade was relevant in-game as enemies? When’s the last time the Scarlet Crusade is framed as members of the Alliance, or Alliance players are forced to collaborate with the Scarlet Crusade?
Not gonna dignify the notion that Varian or Garrosh is at all comparable to Tyrande and Jaina in terms of character arcs or tropes invoked with a response.
Man…
At this point I just want them to give me a book with pictures and the artists thoughts on their processes for creating their art. Nothing with lore, nothing by the narrative team, just the artist and their process.
I’m still tilted after buying those Chronicles chapters when they were advertised as the definitive source of lore on how the universe worked and the history in the warcraft universe and the cosmic forces only for them to pretty much write it off as bs years later with new stuff that isn’t even reliable in the slightest…
Legion. Priests characters do end up saving some of them and killing the rest.
Really? Because Varian could easily bet Tyrande or Jaina in terms of trauma and follow the same “redemption” arch. City destroyed, later got his soul split and not fully reformed(heck apperently abit Sylvanas in it too) and reformed imperfectly so he ends up a rage monster that was driving away allies left and right and provoking wars in the middle of the war Against the Scourge(justifiable but still). Only to later be “cured” though a druidic ritual. Sounds like a mixture of the things that happened to Sylvanas, Tyrande and Jaina to me.
As for Garrosh, a hot head with a father/inferiority complex that ultimately lead to dragging the entire world into war.
How is that at all comparable to Horde players being forced to participate in a major war crime against the Alliance?
Lmao do better
Nope.
