I unable to find any of the skull drops. The champions that are supposed to drop are not there…I go to the place on the map and the guy is not there or will not fight…nothing reported …I have 8.3 patch shadowlands…all info available is from 2017-2016 . This is not the Character that is having the issue …I have a 120 Warlock and need the grimoire. Any help is greatly appreciated!

This can’t be done in one sitting. The drops were tied to legion world quests. If the specific champ had a world quest up for it to go kill it (“Danger: Champ Name”) you would get a skull if you killed it solo or in a 5-man (not raid) party. Kill that guy any other time and you won’t get the skull.
The quest eventually unlocked an appearance, nothing more.
