I was playing around with a grimoire of sacrifice destro build and it seemed to do ok from what I can tell. It was doing around 7.5% of my overall damage. If I was reading details correctly my imp was only doing around 5% or so when I wasn’t using it.
Does Grimoire work ok in raid or mythic plus? I’ve been playing around with some builds and can’t really get a straight answer anywhere I look.
It is definitely a good talent. But the talent path you have to take to get to it is horrible.
There are several fights where it’s a strong choice for Destro in the raid, even on mythic.
Its going to be much better once PTR goes live, assuming it doesnt get gutted.
How is it going to be better?
2 seperate talents iirc will be boosting its dmg by 15% each. Making it much more desireable.
Demonic Inspiration and Wrathful Minion already do this on live.
The only issue for m+ is it’s nice to have that interrupt not interrupt your own spell casting.
I’d gladly take this inconvenience to get around blizzard’s bad pet ai and pathing.
This, tbh. I’m using a razsageth build for destro for raid at the moment, and I’m staring at my talents like “what the hell.”
If we could get a better path so it so destro and affli can sac a voidwalker for another personal

The path for affliction is fine and you can very easily fit it in every build for all content.
Swap it with improved immolate, not really an exciting talent. I’d like Grimoire of Sacrifice to be a choice node with Grimoire of Supremacy. I miss permanent Doomguard/ Infernal
