I main Marksmanship Hunter and now getting into Destruction Lock because I love their play styles and the class/spec fantasy but I hate pets with a passion. I wish Grimoire of Sacrifice was a base % damage increase or at least competitive in some way. I don’t mind the option of using a pet but being force into it is poop. In your opinion what could be done to Grimoire of Sacrifice to make it competitive?

Grimoire of sacrifice is an odd talent. It can’t compete with the other two because, basically, it’s added damage bonus is much lower. Blizz would need to buff the damage or give it some level of additional utility. One way I can think of is if it would let you sacrifice one pet to gain its ability but still summon a different pet while it’s still active.
Gimoire of Sacrifice is only good for affliction, and even then, they have better talents.
The reason it sucks for destro is because destro has 1 dot. It doesn’t have the spread dot pressure affliction has where GoSac will proc contantly. It’s just not going to give you enough procs to justify the dps loss of no pet.
Not to mention, Grimoire of Supremecy is just so godly during burst windows that you basically can’t use anything else without gimping yourself
