Honestly Grim Batol is just the worst m+ this season, all of the bosses mechanics are just so frustrating to deal with not to mention the other affixes

It’s not that bad. The tentacles on the last boss should really despawn at some point, though.

Honestly havent had an issue with GB. For me, its finding players who understand last 2 bosses of Ara-Kara mechanics

When you win or lose!

I would say once they grab someone they could despawn but then it’d be too easy to cheese like other similar mechanics where you pop an immunity and run through them.

That was a tough dungeon in it’s beginning! Fun but ā€˜frustrating’ too!

You can do this anyway, AMS even works.

Do they despawn though?

Probably my top 2 dungeon but I’m weird and I like bossing in M+. And this is also why mist is at the bottom for me.

Definitely not. One of the easiest, if anything.

First boss: walk in the park.

Second boss: clear more room, avoid him, easy.

Third boss: either you just cheese by getting into that corner and make it easier for everyone or you can still do it by moving around and getting the right positioning so you don’t get thrown off the platforms.

Last boss: manage your personals for dps, healer gotta start healing when the damage is about to get out and tank just gotta adjust the position and avoid being thrown into a tentacle (most classes have ways to avoid that easily).

For me, it’s mostly the last boss. I’m not sure why they thought it would be a good idea to constrict the arena to the size of a quarter and then place circles roughly a third of the size of that circle on people so that if those circles touch even a single person for a picosecond it bricks their HP near instantaneously. Completely unhinged encounter design.

Ye, these seem excessive. Maybe I’m not seeing the path they might create or something, though?

if M+ is too hard, you can always run it on a lower difficulty, like heroic.

hahaha, even in cata this is the dungeon you love to hate.

Because of players. At normal even…Normal its jsut an add on fight. that lots of people mess up.

I’ve deemed it a psych experiment.

Lets see how many complain when I type ā€œKILL the ADDSā€. I like to see how many complain about the capped letters as they keep on hitting the boss. and then they wonder why we are wiping not soon after.

Omg it was WORSE in Cata, at least now all the encounters have some way to tell you what’s going to happen and a bit more forgiving of mistakes

IDK I think NW is worse for pugs. So many don’t seem to understand the 2nd to last boss. I’ve also seen the arrow just not take when it should.

Just ran my first +8 today here. Felt like your always one step behind. The constant movement , affixes + tyrannical was not fun.

This is quite literally how it works.

I feel like the only thing that is even remotely difficult in GB is keeping track of your trash %. I’ve seen every single group do something different for their mob count. Which is wild considering how limited your options for freestyling are in that dungeon.

Bosses are just mechanic checks. If your group is dumb, the bosses are hard. If people have even the slightest idea what to do, bosses are free.
