What’s bad about grievous?
Everything. We also had it the other week. My evoker got literally destroyed by grevious, because of our ridiculous squishyness.

I’m confused, it always seems like it is not a factor in my party’s success.
Because Grievous making mechanics that hit like a truck hit like 2 submarines stacked on top of each other.
You aren’t dealing with 30k damage per second from Hyrja’s Eye of The Storm or whatever her +14 fortified week damage is, it’s 30k damage + stacking bleeds. If you get DPS that are allergic to pots or forget to use defensives, well, good luck healing through that.
It’s an annoying affix that exclusively makes the healer’s life worse.

Made worse by evokers taking extra damage for simply existing and their defensive is 2min CD. Grievious eats at evokers hp like no tomorrow.
I’ve never found the bleed hard to manage, mostly after the nerf that made it lower a stack when directly healed. And with tanks always being near full life the big struggle of healing a 4 stack low HP tank is gone. I personally really liked the bursting/grievous week because it was just healing well to succeed, not having volcanoes or tornadoes to dodge.
Grievous on fortified is not as scary as Grievous on tyrannical.
Than god I wish I was playing whatever class you’re healing with in that week because my experience as a Paladin was pure panic when Beacon of Virtue was on CD.
But also, as I said, depends a lot on your group, if you get DPS with basic awareness you’re in for a good run, you get DPS that don’t think at all you have to do is do max DPS and wait for your healer to heal you through every mechanic you get hit by then yeah, gg.
I agreee with u, I am dreading healing keys this week because of grevious. Idk if I want to cry or play my dps character instead.
They both aren’t good. Griev+Tyran introduces more “walls” (Hyrja), but Griev+Fort makes things like the uppering ring of RLP an absolute nightmare while having the now Fort last boss still do a lot of damage compared to literally any other Fort week.
Griev+Tyran is probably the worse one, but it is pretty much would you rather die by getting shot or getting stabbed?

bursting + griev is the worst tbh
this week invite all ranged DPS and itll be mostly a cakewalk

You made me giggle with allergic to pots ngl lol.
As a cooldown maniac, im constantly pressing my cloak/evasion/feint whenever it’s off cooldown and will reduce my incoming damage, but playing an healer alt i agree 100% that most people don’t even bind their defensives and aren’t even aware that they can buy pots for misely silvers that will save their lives (and their keys!)

This is why I dont invite paladins to my keys anymore. Its not that they are bad people, its that they are a bad class

I play HPriest>MW>Prevoker! Prevoker is maybe the hardest if you don’t have a team that works well. And I can’t say the affix is the problem if your team is having trouble, I wouldn’t blame a healer if their dps were running away from them or a tank for overpulling if a hunter barraged!
