Just taking a look around.

Hey! Holy crap I see so many familiar names in here!!!
Numbajuan - Alliance NE Rogue on Greymane in a few different guilds during classic - Legion, Attica, MGX.
Also had Rodea, my paladin that played with Eternal Avatars and found a raiding home in Core later into BC/Wrath!
I miss you guys a ton! Was such a great time!
Heya. Going well buddy
hello it’s your top dps checking in
waaaaaaaaaa4lyfe
A big hello to everyone here, and those who may read this in future, and those whom we’ve left behind.
I was in these guilds:
Edit: I just went back and reread this thread…O my god! Look at all the names here! And the names in the videos! And the voices that I remember even today! And I’m in the video too!!! Group 6 player 1, died at the end to adds, but so happy to be rezed by BlessedHope for extra screen time.
I remember so many names and character models and voices and conversations and jokes and duels and stealth runs. I remember and cherish it all. I’m also still logged into our secret chat channels
Oh and I agree, Chrome #1. One of the few guilds with PvP cred and a raiding Feral in original wow. How did we manage that?! Well, we agreed that the Eye of what’s-his-face should go to Rackham so that his Ret Paladin use the Hammer of Orange for ‘2h Ret tanking’, and yep, that’s what he’s doing in the Nef video.
Several years ago (Cataclysm or Pandas?) Blizzard emailed me some playtime, and I remembered Greymane, so I hopped on to see who was still playing. But it seemed like a complete change of the old guard. The players in public chat channels didn’t even recognize some of the guilds I was naming. It was also winter time and I had no capacity or intention to play, so it seemed very unlikely that I would meet anyone during my half hour login sessions. But, I continued to log in when a new expansion launched. And, on one such visit, Amorina spotted me and I was reconnected with Chrome.
My toons are now in Chrome, and I’m staying, mostly for the epic banter between Sweetback and Corassis. I’ll continue to log in from time to time to chat, and maybe even play a little as an unsubscribed account – I’ve been dabbling in wow level 20 pvp as a starter account, quite fun.
I’m so happy that most folks are connecting with other other to play again. But it is unlikely that I’ll be playing Classic wow or Retail wow at max levels.
The past has sweet memories one does not wish to attempt to recreate.
Faewen!
/hugs
Many fond memories! Still have the cape you made Anola for fire resist lol
I agree Chrome memories were the best of my wow time. Came back more then a few times but never quite had the same feel.
Shim! What up man its Glion! good to see you here man! I found you by searching for deep! I hope he comes back too. What server you on man? down to play any time
Silre here, wife of Cailyn/Carisele and current GM of Chrome. I’ve played on Greymane ever since Carisele pulled me into Azeroth in 2008.
He died almost 5 years ago, but I’ll be keeping Chrome alive in his honor.
Sandrace, you ol’ guildslut, how ya been?
So many familiar names in this thread, so many fond memories, but my heart and soul was and always will be in Chrome.
Fae, Anola, Sandrace, Betta, and of course all the other names I recognize though never ran with- good to see you here!
Would still love to hear from some who have disappeared from the game altogether- Lunadar (Defender of Ironforge), Kadir, Delphina, Mikepoc & Thorshammer (my partners in crimes against good taste), Rackham (the stick up his butt belied a heart of gold), Dred and Gamnit- all ingredients in a group that made the weekly drunken faceroll grind through MC to gear the newbies not just bearable, but some of the most fun I’ve had in any game. I could go on and on.
And not least of all, Cailyn. A damn fine guild leader, and one of the best people I’ve ever met and the greatest friend I’ve ever made online. Silre, you were blessed- and I don’t just throw that term around. I miss him greatly.
P.S. So as not to leave on a sad note, here’s what you were looking for Anola!
Sweetback! Hope all is well!
Yup, that’s the video lol. Was such great times.
The loss of Cailyn was terrible to hear about Silre, he was a great guy gone too young. Hard to believe that was five years ago. Chrome and Cailyn are often in my thoughts.
Raver - NightElf - Rogue - MGX Guild (Vanilla and BC)
Rukeia - NightElf - Druid - MGX & Colossus (BC And WotLK)

Hey bobbyjack. Glion here. was pretty active in the old torrent days.
Illustria- gnome, warlock, engineer / aka Ashling, N.elf. warrior
Vanilla GM- Pay it Forward, Your Quest Log Is Full
Currently in the Dingus Brigade, Greymane, Alliance
As Kirrin mentioned above, we were a very small guild that worked with several others to take down Kara and Gruul’s Lair- Sound of Inevitability, Attica, Ancients of Greymane, and Knights Vindication to name a few. We were non traditional with our group make-ups, often running 5 mans with whatever classes we could before degrees of skill levels emerged leading to raid-rama I think most of the gang has dispersed and likely don’t play anymore, but I thought I would put my name out there, even if I’m not a big talker.
Wawah, Snocone, Frostwynd, Sophea, Aner, Resirack, Loik, Whiskeybent, Swaager, Cuthric, Saliss, Fierygoat, Velmarder, Kaylup, Kodiack, Orinwell, Adgetprop, Marnehorn, Killkenycat, Zeek and his daughter (big and little cookie), Nisbit, GM of the Jingo Cell <3, and more. including Relmax’s elusive lock-Bahridahl, and Allassra.
I’ve been back almost a year now, and still not caught up, but dingus life has been decent, still shooting for that adult, independent, family feel. Still planning fun events as I am able, but we are no Sleeper Cartel (Perenolde) Hope everyone is well. -Ash, 'lusty
