Curious about this, if you get the green fire does it use the current spell animations? or does it revert it to the old ones?
or is it literally just new animations but in green? Thanks!

It’s the new animations but green for the most part. However, your Imp still uses the old green fire bolt and your Soulfire uses the old unique green fire animation.
