Well, remember that High Elves in the Allerian Stronghold have green eyes canonically speaking…
nah nah nah… you NEED BLOOD ELFS IN THE ALLIANCE.
Only need use a portal to time in the caverns of time.
And KILL GARITHOS BEFORE THAT LADY VASH APPEAR IN RUINS OF DALARAN.
That’s all…
the blood elfs for horde, as well as high elfs for the alliance.
So better stay with your blue eyes plz.
That’s wild I did not know that what the hell?
I’m never gonna be able to look at that place the same again.
Bro no disrespect but this isn’t a subjective topic, Void Elves are literally Silvermoon Rejects that Alleria took in.
Watch the Void Elf allied race questline on YouTube if you don’t understand the lore, but it’s pretty blatant.
Do you remember anything of her entire involvement in Mac’aree and during the dungeon and how she speaks of what she could do , meaning she knew of it, yet Locus Walker told her of the danger of it?
Could it be that she had that face because she already went through something similar when she faced and handled the fragment of Nhal’athoth and it was clearly panning to be much worse than that?
Locus-Walker says: How do you feel?
Alleria Windrunner says: My head is… swimming.
Locus-Walker says: Remember… So long as your mind is your own, you command this power. It does not command you.
Considering that in the Seat of the Triumvirate during the fight with L’ura, she says:
Alleria Windrunner says: Such chaos… such anguish. I have never sensed anything like it before.
Because, even if you don’t want to admit it, there is clearly a difference between absorbing something willingly and being forcefully mutated, you know, the difference you refuse to accept.
I did, you’re choosing to ignore it.
You have this right. Yet you refuse to admit that the Void has different levels of effects.
How come Alleria doesn’t look like Garrosh when he was affected by the powers of the Old Gods?
How come Void Elves look closer to living beings that we’ve seen in game that have been corrupted by the void?
You can keep denying it all you want, but Void Elves are no longer Blood Elves.
Also, if I were you, I’d have a talk with this dude:
Mutated Silvermoon rejects.
The blue eyes are high elf eyes. They are from arcane magics. Elves have to eat/consume magic or else they go withered. Alleria is a void elf that did the ritual right. The others had a borked ritual that ethereals did on them. The glowing blue eyes is a natural thing for high elves. Which is why both sides have them.
The green fel eyes come from… fel usage. The void elves do not mess with that stuff, unless they are warlocks. We can also argue alleria was good at hiding her void form, the new void elves didn’t, it was sudden, she took thousands of years to do it, the newbies just started.
We also saw in the ritual that there eyes turned purple into void eyes. That was the orginal void elf eyes. So you can say that the green eyes got overridden by the fel eyes. The blue eye stuff came because alliance wanted the high elf fantasy on void elves. Blizzard caved for that, and even added new high elf hair colors.
Please note that blood elves are high elves that changed there name due to politics. The void elves got exiled, and then recruited to Alleria after they turned into void beasts that would corrupt the sunwell. Note that the fel didn’t corrupt the well but void does.
but it is too late, the first Arcanist is already a horde and with lorethemar they will unite to make the new warchiefs of the horde while Turalyon creates a new war if this is how it goes well in this expansion as long as Blizzard stops making ridiculous censorship of the game itself .
Yeah, it was stated that Fel radiation is so strong that it changed High/Blood Elves’ eyes to green just by staying in the vicinity of it. I’d have to ask Brigante for the specific source on that, though.
Mmm, so assuming their romance is true, the new Warchief of the Horde would be a half-Nightborne half-Blood Elf, and the capital I assume would be Suramar.
Mmmmmmmmm. If that’s the case, I’ll have to reconsider my alliances and change to Horde Imagine playable half-NB half BE.
Technically all the high elves that went to Argus should have gotten green eyes too… but that never happened.
No, it doesn’t.
The green eyes came merely from exposure due to the crystals used to power up structures.
Light is capable of “cleansing” fel, as seen with the Sunwell.
Considering that Void is the direct opposite of it, it’s bound to override it.
They used it as a technology to power up there stuff. That is fel usage. They crystals around silvermoon gave them fel eyes. Via magical technology.
Blood elves hanging out near fel crystals: Years of green eyes.
Alleria cruising through Legion dominated worlds: Still blue eyes.
Yep blizz, that makes sense.
Yeah, in canon they do have green eyes. That was just never reflected in game.
good as long as you don’t assume a ridiculous shipped thanks to the bad scriptwriters that Blizzard has now.
but anyway, Sylvermoon is for the horde, fate will never join the alliance again, accept your reality, blue eyes are for the alliance.
All green it’s good for the horde.
Yea Vereesa went… technically they should have green eyes O.o… I guess blizzard ignored that though for the plot.
Oh God yes, please, keep that city and Lightwell for yourselves.
We’ll create our own Voidwell and reign supreme.
I’ve never found a single mention of the supposedly green eyes on the high elves who went to Argus, specially considering that in the art for the 100 year war, Alleria appears with blue eyes anyway.
Your gymnastics will never cease to amaze me dude.
On one hand, you want to look 100% like a blood elf and pretend you’re not a Void Elf.
On the other, you want Silvermoon to burn to the ground.
You’re as consistent as Blizz’s storytelling.
Yes that is what is called a plot hole. Orcs got corrupted just by being near lands with the fel stuff… it’s weird how no one got corrupted in Argus! Especially the magic prone high elves.
Well, you see, the problem is Blizzard’s addiction to retcons.
First green eyes were because Blood Elves siphoned Fel. Then they retconned it to “it was just the Fel radiation”, but forgot about the troops of High Elves, including Vereesa and Alleria, on Outland.
And they also forgot that the Night Elf Shen’dralar sucked the Fel energy directly from a demon for thousands of years.
And yet they never changed their in-game appearances.
sigh
Blizzard being Blizzard.
