Game Maser Uridetz asked me to report this bug, after they were unable to assist me and verified no bug report had been filed.
I received a Greater Encapsulated Destiny (as a reward for achieving 4/5 rep with Sorodormi, I believe), and selected it to be redeemed after my next completed Rift for a mount. Upon completion, I received no mount. I am wondering if this is because I had already purchased all of the Time Rift mounts and pets, and had none I needed? In any case, I would have hoped it would have let me know that, or refunded the token (perhaps I could use it to purchase an additional pet that I could then sell on the AH?).
They were unable to resolve this case to my satisfaction, but I did want to make sure your QA team knows about this bug (whether the fix is addressed technically or through an explanatory dialog).

This just happened to me. I tried to submit a ticket and saw where we just have to deal with it? Is this true?

Same thing happened to me on this last rift. I used it and chose “pet” since I am still missing 2 of the pets. It gave me… A trinket, no pet. I submitted a bug report for it, but that’s lame that it isn’t giving us the intended reward and that nothing is being done about it.

Same here. Opted for pet cos I have all the mounts and all I got was a gift mount for the opposite faction plus a low spec cloak that I can’t even give to alts.
Payment for being too smart and waiting to see whether mount or pet option would be best.
If you have all the mounts and pets you won’t receive anything. The blue item works only for cosmetic weapons it seems, because after I got all of them I started to not receive anything from it.
I used this item, selected to receive a mount, and got nothing. I do not have all the mounts.
I also just used this item and received nothing after I selected mount, I don’t have all the mounts either.
Also no reward just now from using Greater Encapsulated Destiny after opting for a mount. I did confirm before selecting that I am still missing one mount.
