Not that it really matters right now but I would like clarification… Has there been any change to the GV since pre patch?
I’ve either opened up 5 or 6 slots every week since the drop of pre patch. And since pre patch I have only gotten either wrists or boots. Thats it, nothing else. I thought it was strange the last couple of weeks, laughed about it. “Oh thats weird 3 wrists, and 3 boots” then again the next week, and the next week.
As I was going to open my vault just now I said to myself “Im just gonna get boots and wrists” and then I opened my vault… 3 boots 2 wrists.
Is this a strange coincidence…? I know it really doesnt matter right now, but if all Im getting from GV in midnight is bracers and boots, Im going to crash tf out.
Edit: Come to think of it… My druid has got a helm 3 weeks in a row.
Nah it’s a known bug but thank you for your terrible input. Having ONLY the same pair of boots and bracers 4 weeks in a row right after a major pre patch isn’t RNG its a bug. And its the same across 3 of my characters.
And as far as this post is concerned, I’m trying to shed some light on it so it becomes known. I found another post about it in Bugs, with a lot of replies, that hasn’t been addressed by Blizzard.
It’s not a bug. It is RNG. I’ve spent most of this season getting nothing but trinkets from the Vault. Which shouldn’t have even existed in the Delve row, because we have a freakin’ trinket vendor at the end of the Delves.
That doesn’t mean it’s a bug. It’s just horrible RNG.
So youre telling me, if I get the EXACT SAME 6 pieces of loot every week for 4 weeks, that its RNG? Across 3 SEPARATE CHARACTERS? And then when I look in bugs on forums, and in reddit there are a large group of people having the same difficulties? And it only started pre patch? Okay.
Did you know that there are only a handful of trinkets from Delves and I’ve been getting the exact same ones for weeks across three characters all season, too?
That’s why I stopped running stuff for quite some time.
Not everyone is seeing the same things drop over and over.
It’s bad RNG.
But… feel free to continue to be snippy and condescending.
Thats one piece of loot. Ive gotten the same 6 pieces of loot for 4 weeks. Im honestly not sure people are understanding the odds of that. You call it RNG but 6 pieces of loot all being the same EXACT loot over the span of 4 great vaults. Not like 6 pieces over 4 weeks but im talking 24 pieces, from week to week, being the same.
Then couple that with having it happen across 3 characters. Yea.. thats not an anomaly.
Edit: Im not going to argue this any longer, I found what I came for in bugs. I was trying to shed light and hadnt found the bug post yet.
I won’t discount that being a possible bug, because the chances of that are indeed very unlikely. I’m just more inclined to believe bad RNG before I go blaming a bug. Blizz is pretty good with fixing bugs related to the GV, but TWW could be dead and abandoned by now for all we know.
It’s not a bug, it’s RNG. Unless you can find a blue post acknowledging it as a bug, it probably is just bad RNG on your part. I’ve filled my vault almost every week,6-9 slots every week, the entire season, and never got a single 2h weapon. That’s just RNG my friend.
There’s definitely something suss going on. Every single week of the pre patch my raid row has only been boots/bracers. That’s never happened before in any instance of WoW at all prior during any patch point in my whole time playing this game.
nope its still one of the worst systems added into the game with awful RNG , its still the weekly disappointment box and the fact its still here is mind boggling.
Don’t forget all the belt drops people kept getting after the Reshii Sash became available, or all the cloak drops after the Reshii Wraps became available.
