I wish I could get trinkets. All I get is rings.

Let’s see most of the loot option I can’t use on some toons others I get loot I already have or bad stats. Come 9.1 Stygia won’t matter so I will go with option 3 take the item with the highest loot vendor gold amount.
I just got a 226 weapon in the great vault this week. That means it’s working fine and everyone loves it, right?

Against all odds, 3 of my 4 options were upgrades and simmed within 10 dps of each other. The 4th was the same slot as my lego so ignored it.
I worked hard to doing Mythics not to mention I did not even loot a piece I could use. I ran SOA and HOA over 18 times to try and loot gloves and legs to no avail.

I got undergeared pants 3 weeks in a row before I gave up.
Do you know why? Cause there are 11 rings and about 10 trinkets per primary stat. Odds are much higher compared to armor which is only 4 per slot.
I’ve never seen them give MAU in earnings call. Why would investors care about that?
I mean, that sucks OP, but I’ve gotten an upgrade out of the vault every week since the season started.

Got a staff for my hunter… which would have been a 13 ilvl upgrade.
Its be design. This is not a random system. It is a system designed to appear like you might get something but to deny that reward. The goal is to keep you NOT thinking about how drops aren’t a thing in most of the content you’re doing, like mythics, and instead look forward to the vault each week. Then when the vault gives you nothing, you’re only option is to grind more.
See, if we didn’t have the vault denying us upgrades in a way I can only assume is sadistic and purposeful, then you would notice that grinding mythics is an even worse way to gear up, and that raids also give nothing.
Now they could fix those things just by upping the loot a little in a live patch, like how they nerfed the loot. But instead they want to create a new skinner box. Another hamster wheel for you to run on.
This is on purpose, and they are going to make you wait till 9.0.5 to start the whole hamster wheel over again. They won’t even let you upgrade your current gear. They’re gonna make you farm the EXACT same pieces all over again.
It is working how they intended it to work.

I finally got Innerva’s ring from my vault this morning.
I got 2 pieces I already had.
I got a 223 ring upgrade to replace my 210 one, so I am happy.

Yeah after another week of a crap vault I’m done caring. I’ll get KSM this week or next with guild help and then just raidlog. It’s funny how this week most of us log in and just don’t know what to do. The maw is pointless since nothing from venari carries into 9.1, gear is gonna be “reset” in 9.0.5 since we can’t upgrade our current stuff, and again in 9.1.
The only reason any of us have to log in is achievement farming or selling raid/M+ runs. Its crazy how over the past 3 weeks people are already feeling “done” this tier and we’re months away from the next one.
