Great Vault question

Why does the number of bosses needed to fill it out change, first week I believe it was seven bosses, this week it’s six, want to say season 3 it was seven again, can we please get a consistent number please.

I don’t believe it has changed in a while. They did update it during dragonflight to include heroic/timewalking dungeons. But that wasn’t recent. If the boss numbers also changed then they haven’t changed since. I’ll see if I can find the details of that.

Here you go. 10.2 it changed.

Yeah, to 7.
But this week the vault is saying 6. I’m not seeing a Hotfix anywhere that mentions this.

Exactly, last week during VoI I could have swore I needed 7 bosses to fill it out for the raid row, this week was six. Something seems to be screwy with it week to week.

Could it just be because we are now in Awakened mode?

Oh interesting. I’m looking at the vault at the moment. The notable difference between it and the screenshot on wowhead is that the vault is specifying 6 awakened raids. Maybe that’s the difference. Like if you did six from the non-awakened ones (for some reason) you would only get 2 vault options.

Hmm.
Icy Veins has it listed as 6:

And was last updated April 14th.
I swear last week was also 7 though.

I could have swore that too, would be nice to get a blue post clarifying what’s going on, but that it highly unlikely in this day and age.

It was six, because Vault of the Incarnates has eight bosses and I didn’t kill Diurna and Raszageth on Heroic but still got three Hero track options from the raid row in the Great Vault.

I dunno. That’s a pretty good vault question but I wouldn’t call it great.
