Currently…I have a player that plays Resto druid and another restore shammy.
One got a tank trinket, the other an agi weapon (no int)
Blizzards response to each “you have an off spec right?”

from quest rewards, right? that would not happen from the vault unless your loot spec was set wrong.
Nope the vault both of them are strictly healers.
then your loot spec was set wrong, or you need to put in a ticket.

I know for a fact one of them didn’t. Because they like to stream and there is literal video evidence of them getting gear not on their specs loot table.
Also blizzard tends not to fix these sort of issues if ticketed.
“their spec” and “their loot spec” aren’t the same thing. if they’re in resto and have loot spec set to guardian, they’ll get guardian loot. that’s working as intended, so people who play multiple specs don’t have to change specs every time they loot
You can’t be that daft…no their spec is resto and loot spec was set to resto.
