Still in 564 Belt and Shoes for 3+ weekly resets. Fill out all the LFR raids, 1-2 dungeons, all delves/WQ. need basic veteran gear or better, nothing major.

this week had the choice of six (6)! trinkets and a neck piece. The “drink this poison” trinket had dropped from the vault every week.
the odds of that happening randomly are astronomical. like, Lotto level 1 in millions, unless the ratio of what should drop is massively askew.
and I know there’s nothing thats going to change. I’m just letting off some steam because I really dont ask much from the game. Just give us a currency from the vault and a vendor like we had in MOP Remix or make the ratios between pieces even like an actual dice roll. that the math behind the vault is sooooooooo obviously skewed towards certain pieces just sucks.
there’s 12 pieces. its a 2.7% chance to get a double piece. that drops to X/100ths of a % to get a triple piece. and from there the math gets infinitesimally small - like the space between fingers getting rubbed together. why have the Great Vault if theres no diversity . the whole promise is the “bad luck save” but its not because the backend ratio math isnt even or random it is heavily chosen and manipulated.
this isnt a “git gud” issue. its a casino issue. it’s a math fairness question. and it sux b/c the promise of the vault is not backed up by the math behind the vault.

My druid got 2 trinkets as well. Unfortunately they both sucked.
I got Queen’s Mandate, the season is saved. Now I need Spyglass or Skardyn’s and I might be able to break 900k single target. Need to upgrade my weapon.
So craft them and eliminate RNG.
Don’t feel too bad, I went for the chest upgrade and then rushed over to the catalyst only to find out there is no harmonized silk this week and I can’t use my upgrade because it would take away my 4piece. Genius timegating. I could have got a good trinket or something else instead.
Most expansions you can’t get a trinket to save your life. Always one extreme to another with these guys.

Yeah I wanted to catalyze my pants, but nope. If I don’t get a tier token in raid, I’m just gonna log off until next reset lol.
You could always lvl an alt , I suggest warrior, I’m actually lvling my rogue rn lol
That way I can be disappointed by 2 vaults.
Not to go all tinfoil, but on paper it’s never been random. If there are 10 items in the loot table, and each has a 10% chance of dropping, that’s random. There is ZERO CHANCE that the Quickwick Candlestick has an equal chance to drop as everything else on the loot table.

Nah, they have the trinket knob turned up to 11 for the start. I’ve used 18 delve keys on my main and zero weapons? Nah.

I have an 80 BDK already. Between Sin Rogue and BDK, thats my fill. I’m actually doing stuff on the BDK though, I’m not just hitting world quests or whatever.
I have people in my guild who are just rotating through alts and not gearing their main. So all of their alts are in trash gear, including their main.
Probably because the Delve loot table is like 70% trinkets.

Trinkets are good - if they’re useful.
I got one legging with critic versatility stat and no catalyst to convert to tier , decided to pick me a haste mastery hero neckpiece instead
yeah the catalyst every 2 weeks thing is stupid. i have the same problem when i got a shoulder upgrade yesterday
