As my item level has gone up 20 or so levels, my DPS as stayed the same if not decreased slightly. Oh yay I got the titanforged… but the stats are fed up.
Great game… as long as people only look at my item level I’m good though, just great to level backwards and get weaker as I progress.
hmmm…don’t seem to have this issue when leveling or when gearing but I guess thats just me.
Yes this is hyperbolic… but 15 item level upgrade on a item should be clear upgrade in DPS not -100 or +100 DPS after enchants
Then don’t equip higher ilvl gear that worse because of the stats? Sim whats best? I mean yeah it sucks you can get a 30+ ilvl increase item (like a ring) and it be a downgrade because of stats or lack of a socket but it is currently what we’re stuck with. If your going to try to increase your dps don’t purposefully gimp yourself just by equipping any ilvl increase piece.
1 or 2 pieces regardless of the item, except maybe weapons will not that much difference in dps/hps.
Exactly. Sucks = not fun or engaging, and ya I sim everything that’s why im pissed

Just taking a shot in the dark here. I am still a little salty over mine. I got the exact same item, exact same ilevel I got last week. If I am wrong on the chest, just refer to I got the exact same item, exact same ilevel two weeks in a row. the RNG gods are mad at me I guess

Just FYI OP, ilvl is not the indicator for an upgrade. I might suggest using Bloodmallet for azerite or Icy Veins for stat priority for choosing better gear if you are not going to sim them. Best of luck and don’t get frustrated.
A 15 upgrade, titanforged sword should make me feel something other then confusion and frustration. That’s all, thanks for replies folks
I run an Arms Warrior for raiding I sustain around 16-18k when I get an item upgrade i usually don’t see it in my sustained damage but I do notice it in my burst.
Secondary stats matter.
Also, not sure if it’s the same for fury as Monk but does offhand matter? From what I can tell it’s in your offhand. I could be wrong.
