Doesn’t the cave at least have guards?
Make them ranged, static, give them a ranged weapon and have them one-shot anyone stupid enough to come near the cave mouth.

I don’t care either way, I’m not on your sad little pvp servers that Alliance were complaining on during P2 and I don’t care about cave camping. I want a battleground to be played like a battleground with strategy, not hurrdurr pve race.
What’s actually funny is that you mention that at all, considering any time I do get into an AV Alliance do anything they can to avoid pvp to kill a pve boss.

Ok, so we agree that pvp servers that Alliance were miserable on is fair game also? My point was there is specific goals and criteria that are supposed be in BGs; strategy, winning a battle, etc. Blizz hotfixed cave camping because it goes against that, whereas constant camping and deathsquads are a part of wpvp on pvp servers.
To clarify, I don’t care about cave camping because I know how to corpse run or cancel a res to prevent it, or like… just leave. I don’t know why this was something they had to even bother with.
Well it’s good you don’t gaf about people that didn’t want to spend hours being camped trying to get to dungeons- cuz nobody gaf if the rest of your Classic pvp experience is going to suck. 
Every time you guys talk you just make it clear you deserve what you’re getting now.
Blizz thinks that’s fine- but the moment Horde start crying about being camped a little Blizz rushes to your rescue. It’d be one thing if they were consistently uncaring about people getting camped- but to rescue Horde like this is pathetic.
No, no one is overly concerned about the people who chose pvp servers and didn’t like being camped. Either way, I get what I need from AV so it’s not a big deal. I’m just saying what I’d like to see in BGs instead, some strategy and 40vs40 pvp; the premades that rush and skip any pvp is no fun. Sometimes there is proper structure in an AV, and that’s pretty great. That’s not a complaint, more of an observation. Don’t bring that pitiful video game salt to me, because there’s way more of us who were not involved in Horde domination on like 5 servers.

I haven’t seen cave camping yet myself, I’m assuming it happens on both sides, especially the unfortunate Alliance who get into an AV with only 10-15 people. Personally I don’t care if people cave camp, if people can’t cancel a res or corpse run then that’s on them, but I understand why it was hotfixed. It’s a pretty specific pvp environment that effects more than just a single server’s players.

I agree, as usual Blizzard seized on something trivial or which happens so infrequently it’s not even a problem, while ignoring the many glaring problems with AV.
Sometimes, Blizzard invents stuff to change, just to make it look like they’re “doing something.”
This change was a weird one.
Scratching my head. I have to assume the “issue” came to the attention of some PVE focused developer (with retail sensibilities) or service rep and that person took in on themselves to champion a fix. Nobody who actually understands the pvp mentality and battlegrounds would have been concerned about it.
In a battleground, if you can’t take the heat stay out of the kitchen. There are so many ways someone being farmed can get out of it - afk, don’t rez, ghost walk to another gy if available. But getting farmed in a bg is something that will happen if your team is weak, for whatever reason. Suck it up.
They probably had an idea on a fix and some bean counter told them it’s too much money to pay a few more cents and had to settle for this.
Well, this did absolutely nothing to help the situation. Horde are still farming HKs at every graveyard without capping the flag and they are standing outside of the tunnel entrance farming as well, despite warnings that this was griefing by your definitions. DO SOMETHING. Ban the Horde whom are griefing. Remove the premades. Stop shoving your head up your #NoChanges butthole and fix the problems with Classic PVP.
Just a secondary reminder, the games are still starting with 10 Alliance versus 40 Horde. Please get off your asses and do something the AV game is broken.
Some other changes absolutely necessary: add resilience, buff Belinda by 50%, nerf every Horde racial, and fix the terrain exploits. Then maybe there will be an even playing field.

I don’t even PvP, but I really dislike changing things based on “if this would’ve happened in vanilla, we…”
There is no foundation for the “we” part of that, because much of those who worked on developing vanilla no longer work at Blizzard, and they could very well have different viewpoints.
If there’s a wart in the game that was only fixed after vanilla, then it should stay unless it causes instability(like client crashes and whatnot.)

Good to see you addressing something but lets be real , this wasn’t a real issue unlike , AFKER’S, SCRIPTING, ACOUNT SHARING and BOTS , they are real issue’s that seem to be ignored and thats just AV , let alone all those hunter gold farming bots in hinterlands , azshara , feralas.
Brack said we will try to give the players an authentic vanilla experience, CRBGS are not an authentic vanilla experience.
Players have been screaming at blizzard for years about sharding , crz ruining server communities and yet when given a chance to go back you dont even learn from the past. Then Devs sit there shocked when players lose their crap and say stuff like “they dont listen” “They are the B team” “I have zero faith in this dev team and blizzard” etc etc etc.
